Geraldi's Italian Eating Place is a popular go to pizza, sub and salad take out restaurant in Englewood, FL on Manasota Key. Outside patio seating is available for those who want to sit down and enjoy the beautiful Florida breeze during their meal. Locate
One of the only pizza places that delivers to Manasota Key. Had medium cheese pizza and garden salad for $22.50. Food came just as predicted, 45 minutes.

All too often we get so used to our local eateries that we underestimate the ability and the talent of our local chefs that is exactly what happened tonight at ricaltinis we went in to try the new summer menu and instead @chef bushey's recommendation we had him make us fresh risotto topped with a beurre blanc sauce and perfectly seared scallops and for my husband a beautiful filet of hogfish also over rissoto...who could ask for anything more?

How this restaurant averages out to 4 stars is beyond my comprehension. I ordered chicken marsala, calamari, and mixed vegetables. The chicken was tough, had no taste of marsala wine and was greasy. The accompanying spaghetti was overcooked and mushy. The vegetables were overcooked and were bathed in lemon juice and garlic. The calamari was soggy, chewy, fishy, and extremely greasy. A tremendous disappointment. Will not go back.

New place and they appear to have gotten most of the bugs out. Service was friendly, starting with a smiling hostess to our personable server who was efficient and attentive. The blackened grouper dish was outstanding--large in portion, fresh and moist, nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sausage and penne dish was good but a bit too salty for my tastes--it was loaded with tender sausage and came in a nice marinara sauce. The house salads were large and fresh---crisp romaine, tomato and peppers, blue cheese crumble and croutons with a tasty vinagrette dressing.. Wine list was Ok but would have liked more white options specifically Italian Gavi, Pinot Grigios...Could use some beer/IPA offerings on tap as well. Decor was quite attractive. Will return next time in BC.

First visit with my family. Greeted with a warm welcome. We was told a 30-40 minute but after putting name down for a table on,y had to wait 20 minutes tops. The pizzas are fantastically tasty so is the meatballs and the chicken Marsala. Waitress very attentive and friendly. Good atmosphere too with surroundings. Shame restaurant is closed for a month this Sunday for the familyâs vacation as we too are on vacation from England and would have been returning again next week. Best meal weâve had all week! Highly recommended.

Donât look into the kitchen when u eat here. Also saw one of the kitchen help walk to the back door to smoke, he came back never washed his hands, and kept preparing food. No gloves on anyoneâs hands in kitchen. Frozen manicotti for 10.95. No thank you.
