This is a popular restaurant and it's easy to tell why. Meals are prepared with fresh ingredients and cover the usual Italian-American favorites, as well as other less commonly offered entrées. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and generally eager to ensure the best dining experience possible. The décor is nothing special, but one forgets about that once one has tasted the food. I would recommend having a reservation, as this place fills up quickly.

Been here twice in the past 3 days. First time ordered a pizza which was done perfectly and came with a side salad for a mere $0.99.! Second time ordered a cowboy burger which was spectacular. Food came out quickly and was prepared correctly. Lots of beer options. I opted for a flight for only $7.Happy hour prices are unbelievably cheap.Definitely will return
This restaurant is only 4 months old in this location...the original is on the River and has a good following. We started by having very generous Martini's at the bar and then dinner in the dining area. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. We dined on chicken french, a veal pasta special, penne a la vodka and pasta carbonara. There were no prices listed on the menu so we were prepared to be shocked. We were not. The prices were average with other fine dining establishments. All our dishes were very good and nice portions. The warm bread came with an herbed butter, dipping olive oil and chili flakes. The bottles of the house wines were $30 and they had some really nice choices. It is great to have a new Italian American restaurant in our town with a beautiful decor, professional bartenders and servers, and a good chef. We hope it stays around and continues to delight! We will definitely be returning!

Our hotel recommended Charlie Brown as a great restaurant for dinner! They were right! A great place! Very comfortable pleasant environment! Very relaxing with excellent service! Nice bar to enjoy a drink while you wait for your table! It was very busy so we were glad we had a reservation! The food was amazing! We had pasta and roast beef! Well cooked and presentation was very nice! Friendly, well trained servers! Restaurant is within walking distance of the hotels in that area! Stop at the Pour House Bar for a drink before dinner it is literally next door to a Charlie Brown! We had a great evening and amazing food! Great menu!

The layout of Ristorante Lucano rambles, much like someone's home. Several small dining rooms create an intimate setting. Owners Chuck and JoAnn Formoso host and are genuinely concerned that their guests have a good experience. They are well versed in fine Italian dining, well beyond the usual cliches. Many of the staff have been with Lucanoâs for a long time and seem to share the Formosoâs vision. The menu only tells half the story, as there are usually many imaginative starter and main specials available. Seafood is generally on the specials menu, to take advantage of the freshest and best available.Recently I had the Barramundi fish, prepared with a Panko and walnut crust and finished with a citrus beurre blanc. It was heavenly! I chose the haricots verts and candied carrots as my side dishes. The carrots were drizzled with fragrant fresh honey and were really nice. My dining companions were very pleased with their braised veal shanks and beef tenderloin.Weâve dined at Ristorante Lucano several times in the past and have never been disappointed in this lovely family establishment, that tries very hard and usually succeeds beautifully.

I grew up with the ORIGINAL Pontillos (in Batavia) just down the street. I've had pizza from many of the franchises that popped up in Rochester when Old Man Pontillo started selling his name & recipe, and I'll be honest, all disappointed...all save this location. This pizza tastes like home. It tastes like dinner after high school football games and Friday nights out with friends. Since the Original no longer exists as Pontillos (in Batavia), this is the next best thing...and boy is it GOOOOOOD.

Love the Chicken Riggies at Perlo's, good size portions means Chicken Riggies for breakfast the next day. Place is usually pretty packed on Fridays and Saturdays so call ahead for a reservation. Service is good. If there's a down side it's their extremely small and limited wine list.

I hate to write negative reviews ...however the lunch this week was just ok. Slow to seat us, slow to take our order & very slow to even bring water. The gnocchi tasted good BUT ,what a small portion !!! Really disappointed. My dining companions Panini was just ok but, almost too crunchy & made a mess .

Considered one of the most authentic Italian restaurants in Monroe county. A place where visiting Italians are referred to for a meal most resembling home. Dinner Monday-Saturday starting at 5pm. Dinner Sunday starting at 4pm. Happy Hour Monday-Sunday 4pm
Lemoncello's has become one of our favorite restaurants! The chicken lemoncello is to die for as is their lemoncello salad dressing - which you can buy to take home! They are currently expanding their outdoor patio which is a great place to dine during the summer. You can't go wrong here!
