Typical Osteria of Centro Italia, located in the medieval village of Laterina. With a welcoming and warm atmosphere, it offers a rich variety of meats and cold meats to rediscover the tastes of true Tuscan cuisine.
This is a very nice place if you want a authentic, local experience! The food and wine was really good - especially the antipasti! We came in a group of 11 persons and the friendly owner made room for everyone. Highly recommend this place!!We wait for you again. thank you so much!Rrrrr

Our first time in Italy, we joined friends, and ate at several good restaurants. Then our group of twelve went to the Fornace Restaurant. We were the first ones there, so the owner showed us the dining area of this remodeled old brick factory. Just a beautiful setting, with a seating area in every nook and cranny. The meats are cooked over hot coals next to the fireplace with the oak logs burning. All of the appetizers and entrees had superb seasonings, and the deserts were top notch. After we finished the 7 course meal including white and red wines, we had a delicious toast to the owner drinking Grappa. We were the last group out the door. A never-to-forget experience. Cannot wait to return. If 6 stars were possible...this would get my vote.

We have been to Bacco many times and it is the restaurant that keeps giving ! The variety and quality of the dishes keeps us coming and it feels like dining at a family table. Come and appreciate it - a gem in Tuscany !

You can tell by everything that this is a quality restaurant: the service, the ambiance, the table linen, everything tip-top. Also the antipasta (vegetarian) was a piece of art and combined the best of Tuscan cuisine. No industrial products, refined combination and great variety. Would not advise combination of antipasta + primo by the sheer quantities. The primo pici chef style with truffle and breadcrumb was also classic. But with the main course mixed grill something went terribly wrong, it detoned from the rest. May be the chef wanted to show authenticity by presenting something poor Tuscans have to eat? Chunks of grilled bread, fat lard, two salt and fat sausages, a bit of liver with fennelseed and also two rather decent pieces of meat, This was accompanied by a lot of nice baked potatoes and musterd-mayonaise sauce. Fortunately our other secondo, very tender coniglio a la cacciatore was much better. The prices are all rightand the wine from the house was excellent. Our total experience was a bit spoilt by this one dish. Otherwise this place certainly qualifies as the best restaurant in town (surroundings: the beautiful uphill village San Leonino) Bucine.

We probably arrived a little late for lunch however it was no problem. Service wasn't the fastest but we weren't in a hurry so it didn't matter. Interesting menu and very artistic presentation. Plenty to see in this village. Excellent museum and art gallery and magnificent views.

We chose le Cantine because it was highly rated on TripAdvisor. We waited 1h15 to be served. The pizzas were very basic, we guessed not home made tomato sauce. The meat was very poor quality, greasy and over salted, the fries served with it were like those of a cheap fast food restaurant. The salad was basic and dry; inedible.

Great view but only on a small terrace which is permanently âreservedâ even though 4 out of six tables are empty. Waitresses doesnât speak english at all and try to avoid any contact with foreigners. Prices for food are overrated and quality of food could be better.

IN THE HEART OF TUSCANY The restaurant La Chiave Dei Sapori in Badia Agnano is located in the historic center of the characteristic Tuscan town, like a pearl set in history. MEAT OR FISH? The dilemma is arduous when you can choose between home-made pasta
We were celebrating our wedding-anniversary with four daughters and son in laws and eleven grandchildren from age one to sixteen. The experience was superb! The lovely laid table, the playground and toys for the children, the welcoming atmosphere and the food was the best we had during our stay in Tuscany! Thank you!Grazie a voi per averci scelto siamo contenti di non avervi deluso ma siamo strafelici di avervi avuto come ospiti nel nostro ristorante grazie a voi saluti Leo

Visited this restaurant twice during our vacation in Tuscany and I must say that the quality and level of this restaurant is far higher than one could imagine: Tuscan dishes prepared with excellent ingredients and a touch of creativity, competent and friendly staff, a fairly priced wine list and a great view over the surrounding hills.

The simplicity of Tuscan flavours, the perfumes of our valley can be found in the dishes of the Osteria, the youthful country restaurant, perfect for dinner with friends or a romantic date. At the Osteria every occasion is a special one.If you come once,
Amazing traditional pretty restaurant in the village square of a small Tuscan village. They accommodated us for a late dinner (9.30pm) as we only just arrived to our B&B nearby. The menu was quite large with varied options, and prices were very reasonable. We ordered a delicious, out of this world truffle & porcini mushroom pasta! It was soo good but portion size a bit small. The truffle pizza was also very delicious, base nice and thin and crispy! The lamb ragout pasta was also good. House wine was nice and good value and they offer carafes. The waitress even offered to keep our food warm when one of us had to put a child to bed. We went again another night and ordered an amazing meat platter which was perfectly cooked and juicy. The service was again very good. Overall, this is the best tasting restaurant in the village out of the 2 restaurants there (we felt the other restaurant has a nicer panorama view from the terrace but the food is not as good).
