You go to a restaurant to eat good food. This restaurant does not deliver on that. We went there because all three that our hotel recommended had closed for holidays. In other places in Italy 45 euros, for two, got us delightfully prepared gourmet food in great surroundings. Here we got gnocchi that seemed to be little better than hard nuggets in some tomato sauce - suspiciously like it came from a package and was heated. We craved a plate of grilled vegetables, but that only consisted of a couple of wafer thin vegetables flat on the plate - prepared earlier and served cold. The chips were from a frozen package. The mixed grill at 15 euros was also very disappointing. The pieces of meat were small - 2 kebabs were ridiculous; the pieces of meat were so tiny that it is hard to believe you could get the sticks through. Finally the house white wine was very cheap, and tasted it too. Very rarely do we write a bad review, but this restaurant was way over-priced. This town seems to close too many good reatauants in Oct. and it is a struggle to find one.

Very, very good. Excelent diversity of pizzas and other italian specialities. Fair prices. Ando you don´t have to wait to much. Even in August.

An unexpected quality fastfood with a variety of delicious and homemade dishes and healthy choices. Pizza, pasta, meat, salads as an example. The service is accurate and waiters very kind although is not a proper restaurant.

Traditional Italian food serve in a quaint environment. Pizza was not to our taste and the staff took it back without charging us.Antipasti excellent and in a huge portion.Very helpful staff that helped us with the menu. When we were there it was quite busy but the place was still enjoyable and not too noisy.

My family and I were fortunate enough to visit the beautiful town of Pescasseroli in January and were told by a friend who lives in town that we must go to Pepoe Ristorante Sora! The food was outstanding! We all ordered something different and therefore were able to sample a wide selection of typical dishes each of which was absolutely delicious! Not only was the food amazing, but the overall ambiance of the restaurant and warm and friendly service made this one of our favorite dining experiences in our entire 10 day trip to Italy! And don't worry if you don't know exactly what to order! Ask any waiter/ the owner herself and they will definitely point you in the right direction to a beautiful meal and terrific wines! Do yourself a favor and PLEASE stop in!!! You won't regret it!!

The âRusticoâ Antipasto was excellent. A wide variety of different sliced meats & salamis, as well as different cheeses. I was also served with warm Bruschetta & Potato Fritters. The lamb was tasty but the steak was overdone. The decor was a bit kitschy and the lighting very bright!

We went to this restaurant based upon TA reviews and the hotel recommendation and were not disappointed. The food and service were both very good and the prices very reasonable...the sausage and broccoli were great as well as the pasta. Dessert (tiramisu) was a bit disappointing.I would go back!

We went to Plistia for dinner. We were the only couple there initially, and had a lot of attention from the co-boss, Cicitto. There was no menu, just course after course of great food prepared by the other co-boss, the chef, Laura (I think). The food was all wholesome stuff with a Slow Food ethos - local, seasonal. And a decent price too. As we'd chatted about food, and I'd talked about baking, the next day Cicitto met us and took us to a local bakery to meet his brother-in-law, a local master-baker. It's not often you get such comprehensive service.

We recently spent 3 days in Pescasseroli and enjoyed 2 meals at this restaurant. We were welcomed warmly on both occasions and treated like old friends on our return visit. The hearty, country style cooking here was devoured in no time by our 3 hungry children (aged 12, 10 & 8).Local ingredients have been well used and the sausages in particular were a highlight. We will be back!

This small, charming restaurant is part of a family run hotel located in a residential square in Pescasseroli, in the Abruzzo National Park. We were seduced by each and every one of the courses, all beautifully prepared and presented. The menu is fixed but masterfully captures the food and flavors of this region of Italy. The price was quite reasonable and my husband, who has an enormous appetite, could not eat another bite when dessert was presented. But I had to try the luscious but light cream-filled pastry. We retired to our room and slept like babes.
