Reviews on Italian food in Peoria, Illinois, United States. There is nothing average about the average American town of Peoria, where the diverse population and Midwestern vibe has long had entertainment promoters asking, "Will it play in Peoria?" If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere, or so the logic goes. Its scenic skyline, energetic nightlife, lively performing arts scene and miles of mountain bike trails will have you wondering why you would want to make it anywhere else. Will you play in Peoria? Yes, you will!

I went with a friend for a later night dinner. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the special for that night, which was lasagna. The salad was good, nothing remarkable but nonetheless good. The lasagna was a good sized portion, nice and hot, and had a good flavor. The sauce it came in was also very good. Of course, the bread they are famous for was also very good and there was plenty of it. It wasn't fine Italian dining, but they are well known in the area and a good place for decent food at a decent price.

I come here a lot. One of my favorite places. Most sit at the bar. Service is always great. And the food has always been good. They make you feel like family here.

A quaint little Italian restaurant that surprises you with its variety and quality. In a small strip mall and next to a gas station convenience store you might overlook this one. Donât! The food is great, the service friendly, the overall dining experience a 10+. Definitely dine here.

Avantiâs Ristorante is known for some great food dishes. The Gondola sandwich is what sets Avantiâs apart from the rest. It features salami, ham, American cheese, and lettuce on what I consider the best Italian bread. The sandwich tastes so good. I live an hour away and Avantiâs is worth the drive.

Stopped in for dinner Saturday before Bradley University graduation, and at first we were not sure the restaurant was open, since it was dark from the outside, and once inside, there were very few customers. Since my daughter has eaten here a couple times before, we decided to give it a chance. Overall, the food was decent Italian. Bruschetta was good, as were the entrees and sandwiches we ordered. Service was a little slow, even though there were very few customers in the restaurant, and tables were not cleaned quickly after customers had left.

Had the chance to eat here twice in the past few weeks and both times were outstanding. The combination of food, service, and atmosphere really hits the marks. Both times I started with the carpaccio because I don't find it offered many other places and the parmesan flakes with oil is just right and not too filling. Did the boar which has been a favorite and still is. But also tried the eggplant parmigiana and it's now my favorite over the similarly prepared four cheese chicken. Others had the sea bass, ribeye, and chicken marsala and all said they were great. Service is attentive and friendly. It can be expensive, but doesn't have to be . many entrees under $20. All in all one of my favorites in Peoria and perfect for business, friends, couples, or a celebration.

Casual Italian restaurant offering an extensive selection of house-made and imported pastas, soups and salads, pizza, seafood, steaks and desserts. Large portions of affordably priced menu selections are prepared with the freshest ingredients available.
I have been to Biaggiâs in a different city so I knew the food would be good. I wasnât disappointed. The restaurant was in a large shopping center so it was easy to find. Our food was great and the waitstaff was efficient. We both ordered Caesar salads. They were huge. One shared between us would have been enough. They serve fresh bread with the meal. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and my husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Both were large portions and both were very tasty.
