Little farm restaurant open during the week end, friday and saturday for dinner and sunday for lunch. Two rooms avalaible all the days of the week. In the farm there is a production of tipical wine from three generations.
From the welcome to the service to the food to the wine... This place just couldn't be better. And the price was a real shock! Unbelievably Low! We were a party of 4 and we had antipasto, primis, wine, l'acqua frizzante, dolce, caffe, and an amazing after dinner liqueur made from laurel leaf, pure alcohol and sugar cubes. The bill for all 4 of us was â¬60! We left a generous tip and I hope you do too.

Torneremo volentieri.

We are closed on Sundays (except when there are fairs and flea markets) and Monday evening
If you look over at who I am you'll see that I have reviewed far more restaurants than most other folks. And the majority of my reviews are very favorable thanks to doing research in advance. I rely on TripAdvisor for some of this research so I feel that I owe it to others to recommend great places and warn against others. We ate there this evening since the places recommended by our host are closed on Wednesday. La Trapesa had some good TA reviews so we tried it. The Prosecco was flat, obviously the end of an old bottle. The red wine was absolutely terrible! Again, the bottom of an old bottle. Agnolotti was disgusting and inedible. Served on a cold plate as was the pasta pomodoro which was almost edible. We left almost all of our food on our plates and did not drink their lousy wine. The insalata verde was OK though. The waitress, however, was gracious, polite and friendly. I strongly advise avoiding this place. evening as the places

We have been here several times. The menu doesn't change much but food is very good, as at home and prices are good. It's worth a try and just next to the church.

When we drove in, we initially had a feeling it was closed as there were no cars but we were surprised to be welcomed by this lovely smiley italian lady, that although didn't speak any english (which for us is a good sign), we understood her saying that she would arrange something for us to eat which made us very happy. What should have been a quick snack, became a very authentic 10 courses italian meal with their own produced wine, freshness at it's max from the garden straight to our dishes, which lasted 3h. We were delighted to discover this place and it's authentic fresh cuisine, great service and we highly recommend if you're close-by and have a big appetite. Thank you for taking good care of us and feeding us with love. A+C

We decided to stop along the way to Genoa to try this Osteria.Despite some waiting for the table we really enjoyed it.We had the charcuterie as starter, very generous board and delicious, and after handmade gnocchi with castelnagno cheese and black truffle and the roasted pig with peppers. We will definitely go again!

Ristorante con cucine Senza Glutine, Senza Lattosio, Vegane e Vegetariane. Pizzeria napoletana griglie di carne e di pesce a vista con cucina mediterranea. Paella e pesce fresco.
Enjoyed an evening here with friends, and felt very confident as a coeliac eating here- they are very well-informed of gluten-free, cautious of cross-contamination, and offered a wide range menu, including pizzas (cooked in a separate oven), gnocchi, and they make the majority of the desserts gluten-free - I had cheesecake! Highly recommended.

We have been for lunch at La Grotta di Barbanera on several occasions during our two month stay near Ovada. The family run business (and what a lovely family they are) offer excellent food at very very reasonable prices.Their 10 euro lunch special is very hard to beat for value...and more importantly for taste. For this you get 2 courses with choices + a choice of wine or watet.Their pastas are always fresh and beautifully cooked al dente. The Secondi also will not disappoint.Furthemore they have a wide range of beers and make a wonderful coffee. We cannot speak highly enough of this restaraunt. Its well worth finding!Rob and YvettePerth, Western Australia.
