La grange recently reopened after complete refurbishment. The decor is nice and contemporary, looking fresh.The menu is very big, giving a long list of choices in many dishes. Too many things on offer usually means not very well prepared. We ordered a side of beef which wasn't cooked how we ordered, once it returned to our table after being sent back, the fries had just been reheated and were soggy with oil and the meat was super tough. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this place unless you fancy a pizza which are made in front of you. For the fries I don't think they have been reheated because they would been Brown which, if I remember well was not the case in your plate. Anyway, we would be pleased if you could give us another chance and would be really happy to see you again. I know I will regret this review because nobody knows this place, and I really enjoy this situation.You should really pay it some attention next time you are in Yverdon.Csarda is a typical small local restaurant. Nothing makes it stand out, the location is not really good, it is too close to a main road, but at least parking is usually easy.Even inside, you won't be impressed by the decoration. it really looks bland and uninteresting.But they have some of the best meat in the whole town and even further than that.They also make very decent pizza and some good pasta or cheese dishes, but the reason why you want to eat there is meat.They make all the known variations of meat fondue, chinese, bourguignonne, bressane, tatar hat, name it ! Most of them are offered on an "all you can eat" formula, but what makes it really interesting is the sheer quality of the meat. It is gorgeous.They also make excellent skinny fries (matchstick size) with their meat which I always appreciate.The service is very friendly and the prices are fair.So, like I said, I know I will regret shedding some light on this little unknown gem, but go ahead ! try it, if you enjoy meat you will love the place.

We had dinner with family (including 2 kids) here in Jul and had a great experience. Food tasted real good and restaurant is located in the center of old town. We come here for lunch when shopping in Yverdon. Don Camillo is an unpretentious little restaurant with friendly staff and good food. They have a daily speciality (CHF 16.-) which is certainly good value for money. Our favourite from their main menu is Piccata. Have eaten here often and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere remains pleasant even when it's full at midday.

A pleasant surprise to find an authentic Italian restaurant upstairs above a bar / bistro below. The cuisine is authentic Italian with a couple of good tasting plates to share and we all had pasta as the main course which was well prepared , not swimming in sauce a and decent sized portions. A definite find and we will certainly return in the future. The restaurant is quite small so you should book in advance if possible. The wine list is limited but there are some good bottles of Italian wines available at fair prices. Le Bar du Coq offers good value for money and is obviously a success and the staff are happy to speak with their customers and explain some of the dishes if required. nous nous sommes arretes sur le chemin du retour et avons mangé , pour ma part j ai pris une entrecôte de cheval sauce poivre vert.1 la salade était tres bonne 2 les frites étaient bonnes bien que industrielles3 la viande était bonne et cuite correctement , par contre la sauce.....bofma copine a pris les gnocchis au gorgonzola et brocolis et m'a dit que câétait très bonles portions sont plus que correctes , je n'avais plus faim apres et ma copine n'a pas pu finir son assiette.

Stopped in here for dinner on a Sunday while traveling. The pizzas were very good, and the staff was friendly and personable. Would recommend eating here if in town.

We visited as two adults and two children and made a reservation for a Sunday. Pizzas were excellent, wood fired. The children ate half a pizza each - which was great as they usually leave some. Wine was served a little chilled but was very good - some local wines well selected and good value. Service friendly and prompt.Recommended for pizza.
