We were told by our concierge that this was the best restaurant in the region. Off we went into the dark, up a mountain, with poor signs and now no internet for directions but we just kept going. We arrived at the restaurant and they had remained open for us and we were the only ppl in the entire place. We were treated like royalty and received several amazing courses and wine pairings for each. The waiter/owner brought out this huge piece of steak and filleted it for us table side. Dear Gawd, how I wish I hadn't ate the previous 4 courses and was able to eat the entire filet with no knife needed. The owners high school age came out and translated everything back and forth, it was a great time!! I love this restaurant and plan on returning with my husband the next time I am in Franciacorta.

It has been a long tradition to go for a hike and them on the way back stop to eat in this the most typical trattoria. The food is always exceptional and the service fantastic. They always go the extra mile, this type part of the group go separate and arrived late, but they kept the kitchen open. Love the quality of the food that is both original and traditional. I originally stop alone 7 years ago for lunch now I am coming with groups of 7-14 people

You really need to search for this restaurant to find it out. It's in a small village (2000 people) in the northern edge of Franciacorta, in a middle age complex of houses. You can get great antipasti (salame, tuna salad), home made pasta (casoncelli bresciani), manzo all'olio (rabbit only on Wednesday) and to rata bresciana. A good selection of wine, even if I suggest to taste Majolini methode champenoise (the cave is sitting on the hill just above the restaurant, open during the week, book a visit on the weekend). The business is family run with children helping to serve during holidays.

Villa Baiana: the adobe dates back to 1620 when it was property of Benedetto Montini. Acquired in 1982 from Bozza brothers Vittorio, Giancarlo and Alberto (that in that way were able to continue the family wine tradition), the elegant structure of Villa B
I was lucky enough to be part of conference party that was treated to a private tour of the cellars followed by a dining in a private function room. The location was a beautiful ancient villa, perfectly and tastefully preserved. The food was outstanding. A cheese risotto, stewed lamb and tiramisu were in the 4 course line up. Each course paired with local wine including the local sparkling in white and rose.

Living in the neighborhood, I have dinner here from time to time. The restaurant is very well located on a hill, having a beautiful view of the valley. It is spacious and offers a playground for children. Food is simple but usually well prepared (last time I had a perfect Fiorentina), even if it happens (rarely) to have something not up to (once the appetizers were clerly not freshly cut and prepared). Desserts are home made and tasty.

I wanted to try the food and wines from Cortefranca in aour way to Garda, so went to La Fiorita. The place was really nice, very Italian, in the mid of wineyards. Typical white and red checked tableclothes, very nice and familiar service, who recommended us very nice food. Casoncelli (similar to ravioli) and Crespelle (very thin omelettes filled with cheese and herbs) were the best Italian dishes I have ever had, accompanied by sparkling white wine from the property, and afterwards roast beef and roasted rabbit with polenta. For dessert, strawberries with ice cream and chocolate pannacotta.Hmmmm! Delicious!!!

A recommendation from a fellow Motor-homer led us to this rather special venue.Three days among the vines, swimming pool to unwind but a special host and Family member Franchesca wearing the biggest smile of our holiday imparted an incredible knowledge of this Family run vineyard and intermittent Restaurant.Romantic Dinner on the terrace, but Donkey stew was "Off" as was as was Horse TagliatellaHowever the meal was fantastic as was the wine selection and the atmosphere "moody" to say the least. My way of expressing what a really great evening my Wife and I shared in this remarkable venue.Dont miss out on the wine tasting or meal if you are in this beautiful area.
