Dropped in here by accident and WOW what an experience! Thought I was on the Hill. Food was fabulous. I have recommended Ami's to my family and friends and I will definitely return!Try splitting their Ami's Slata Mista or Chef's salad and one of heir specialty pizzas with your wife or date..... fabulous!

Fratellis's has it all--delicious Italian food, experienced and attentive wait staff and a family-friendly environment. I especially like the fact that guests can converse without music or TV's blaring. There are enough soft surfaces, too, that sounds are absorbed rather than reverberating. Within the last two years, the owners updated the decor which is contemporary in a classy way.

Sat on the patio to enjoy the pleasant evening, only to realize there were smokers nearby, so we moved. Then people were seated nearby and 2 of the men were smoking cigars!! AND the workers, and one of the men from the original table came over and were all smoking nearby!! Our salads were good, but 2 of us ordered lasagna and it was COLD, we had to wait while it was redone, they offered NO compensation, they didn't even bring us bread back with our order! Not impressed and will NOT be back. Detested the smoking! When you order is cold and has to be redone, you should do something to compensate for your mistake. Not acceptable.

I travel for work and get so tired of eating out. This was very close to my hotel so I decided to try it. I got my order to go and it was ready quickly. It was so good I went back the next night too!! I highly recommend!

Established in 1976. For over 40 years, Pirrone's Pizzeria has been serving the St. Louis community delicious pizza and other cuisine. Even with so many years of great success, we hold true to our roots of serving fresh and delicious meals that are made w
Having lived in Florissant many years ago and eaten Pirrone's at that location, I was interested in seeing if this venue would be as good. As I remember their pizza from years ago, this offering was just as good. Thin crust, lots of cheese and toppings and a very nice well balanced taste between the toppings, cheese and crust - something difficult for many pizza operations to achieve.

We got the breadsticks and pepperoncinis (sp?) as our appetizers. The breadsticks were pretty good and the pepperonis were really good. I got an 8 inch pizza with beef, bacon, and mushroom and my wife got the baked ravioli. I thought my pizza was very good. The crust was very crispy and the sauce was good. It was a bit smaller than I expected but I was just able to finish it with the appetizers we had, so that turned out well. My wife wasnât so lucky. Her baked ravioli was only average and was nothing to get excited about. She said it was overcooked. The service was good. The appetizers and main courses were spread out well, and our waiter was nice.

Good service! But, what was truly impressive was the pizza. This was not the typical Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza. There was so much cheese and toppings. Delicious!

On our annual trip to the St. Louis area, we always stop by Stef's with friends to get pizza and pasta lunches. This year, we got the usual excellent dishes and service with no complaints. I called ahead two days earlier to make sure they would have 20 lbs of provel cheese I could take with me and was told the cost would be $20.00 per 5 lb. block, an increase of $1.25 since last year, an increase that could be expected. But when I picked it up along with our luncheon check, the cost had risen to $25.00 per block, making it $5.00 per lb. instead of $4.00. When I asked my server why it had gone up in two days, she said the owner had to be called to find out what to charge and this was the price he quoted.I have two issues with this: first, I should have been charged what I was quoted the first time. The owner shouldn't change his mind about what he wants to charge on a whim. Second, an increase of $1.25 per 5 lb over a year's time is something to be expected but an increase of $6.25 is simply unacceptable. This will be the last time I get my cheese at Stefanina's.Since the meal was very good, I am still giving the restaurant a four star rating, down from five a year ago.
