Initially designated as Great Cow Harbour by 17th-century English colonists, the area was officially renamed Northport in 1837. In 1898, in order to localize governance Northport was incorporated as a village.

It's a stroke of good fortune for Campari that the Engeman Theater in Northport is right across the street. The business from the pre-theater crowd must be tremendous, hence the Opentable reservation option.Food is not bad if you order carefully. This is basically a pizza parlor with a dining room off to the side. Spaghetti and meatballs very good - in fact, any 'red-sauce' dish is well worth the trip. No pizza, unfortunately, on the dinner menu. Bread basket with accompanying olive oil very nice. Wine by the glass good and affordable. Service is friendly and efficient. Bottom line: If you have tickets for a show and the weather is really, really cold, dinner at Campari is a no-brainer.

To all of our valued customers and friends, we thank you for choosing us over and over again and hope that we can continue to serve you for many years to come.
Excellent wait staff, cheese appetizer, hearty Italian pasta dinner, full bodied wine recommended by the waiter and finished with caramel gelato. This was our first time and we would go back again if ever in the area. Huntington village has a nice feel

The food and service are always good here. Nothing too fancy or too expensive. They have a band on Saturday eves which is great for the older crowd. The last time we were there, they had a group called "Flashback" who got everyone up dancing. Great fun!

This was our first visit to La Villini; though it certainly won't be our last. This restaurant [located in the Larkfield Plaza strip mall] offers exception, well priced Italian specialties in a warm, welcoming setting. All items on the expansive menu are served a la carte - as either a "small" portion for individuals; or large suitable for 2, 3 or 4 people to share. Service is friendly; yet warm and professional [water glasses were refilled quickly throughout the meal]. The food itself - a shared Caesar salad, Veal Marsala and Chicken Campagnola - was absolutely delicious, as were the double espresso and decaf cappuccino!Looking forward to returning to La Villini again in the very near future!

Have eaten here many times. The pizza is probably the best in Northport. Have gotten food here for the office parties a few times and we are never disappointed. Everything fresh and delicious. Salads are great. Penne alla vodka delicious. Would highly recommend. Great service too.

Wonderful folks here and the food is delicious. I particularly like the meatballs and my wife likes their veal piccata. My cousin likes their buffalo chicken pizza. This pizzeria is clean and has a friendly wait staff. Can't go wrong here. Darn it, now I'm hungry.

There are many pizza restaurants in the area - coming and going. Intermezzo has been around for years and continues to have a strong following and the BEST pizza in the Fort Salonga/Northport area! Thin crust, delicious sauce and toppings. A really nice touch are the free garlic knots that the owners give you with your pizza- a really nice touch! Dining in the restaurant is also great - the food is very tasty and the atmosphere is wonderful- sometimes there is live music! It's nice to have a local place that has consistently wonderful food and excellent service!

Small, relaxed, comfortable place for good pizza and other Italian dishes. My Go-To pizza shop. Great seating outdoors when the weather cooperates. Nice young crew always trying hard to make you meal right.

Welcomed by Maria, who is a sweetheart, we were seated promptly and introduced to our waitstaff. We were asked if anyone had any food allergies. 3 at our table preferred nothing raw. So they were taken care of . The first plates arrived with snow crab legs, shrimp cocktail and raw oysters. A hot cup of lobster bisque. Then plates of sushi rolls and for our friends, tempura rolls. And the food keeps coming. Portions are perfect for tasting. The best of the best were the Korean style spare ribs, Shrimp Scampi, Kobe Beef sliders, sauteed string beans, Penne a la Vodka, zuccini parmasean, meatballs and the truffled grilled cheese. Portions allow for a couple of forkfulls to a bite or two. Roughly 15-18 different tastes and they come quickly. There is one pace here and it's non-stop. No resting, and no bread to fill you up, nor was it needed. It's as if Michael Maroni tested all his recipes and chose the best to serve. Quite an eclectic array of taste sensations. Although wine and beer are included, we chose to bring our own special wines (Smart move if you're into wine). The walls speak, and contained classic 70's Rock art and paraphernalia including a Rickenbacker hanging right above us. Payment is expected by cash or check, tax and gratuity included. It was a delightful, fun experience and yes, our taste buds rocked! Pricey? Yes but hey.............

Iâve lived in Northport for 25 yrs and drove by this restaurant constantly today I stopped. To my surprise a nice country style setting low ceilings and an affordable lunch menu. I had the stuffed flounder... delicious. Lunch was made even more special with our waiter Dennis... made you feel like you were in a family restuarant. The only downside you have to pay in cash and a atm machine is not in the building. No worries next time Iâll know
