Sometimes special chef menus and prix fixe 7 course meals can be intimidating. Not here. Fabulous food. Nicely served -- but in a very casual place. wondered if we'd be underdressed. Not at all. It's Cape Cod! Reservations essential... but try at last minute for one of two settings. 2 1/2 hour meal so we ate at 5:30.Each dish is explained and beautifullly prepared and presented. Nothing "usual" about it... but very edible. A single garnished oyster.... Coca ravioli with mushrooms. Spiraled squash in what looked like a braid garnished with edible flowers. Fantastic pureed gazpacho. Delicious blue fin tuna from Provincetown followed by an EVOO cake with local peaches and whipped cream. Even though a lot of courses, not overwhelming. Wine list has range. We had a Cape Cod Porter which was great -- and incredibly affordable at $4. Menu varies nightly but they accomodate eating limits/allergies without a problem.Highly recommend for a special evening.

Taste the best that Italy has to offer in our cozy wine cellar that has radiated charm and atmosphere for decades. At Ciro & Sal's, inspiration is born from the simple homegrown flavors and traditions of the Northern Italian cuisine. Enjoy the aroma of ga
Being a chef myself, I am very choosy about the food. On a friendâs recommendation, had a dinner at Ciro and Sals with my girlfriend, who happens to be a vegetarian. So here we are, writing this review, as the restaurant totally deserves it. A unanimous five star for the feel, food, service and staff from our side. With its cozy environment and aesthetic interior, Ciro an Salâs menu was awesome. Italian food at its super best and trust me, when I say this, it really is. And the vegetarian food was as good. The aroma, taste and presentation, everything was perfect. Ciro and Sals has blown away my favorite restaurant list and is current blockbuster. A highly recommended eatery and bar place which you guys must visit, if you are in or near by province town.

Sal's Place is authentic Italian dinning right on the water. We have been open for 50 years and have won may awards including best Italian on the cape and islands from WBZ.
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Sal's our first night in town. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Service was outstanding and so was our meal. I had the lobster pasta and my wife had the scallops. Both great choices. We also received some chowder before our food came and it was our favorite of the entire trip (and we tried a lot). After dinner we received homemade lavender fudge. Very romantic place to have dinner, as it got dark, there was low lighting and candles. Wonderful meal and with our bottle of wine and we were in heaven. Highly recommend (with reservations). Cash only.

We stopped for a quick casual bite before heading to the beach and we were drawn in by the promise of a beach patio. That is very nice, but the food was average at best. The daiquiri I ordered was strong and made with obviously very cheep liquor. It was undrinkable. They did swap it out for a beer for me though. The Greek salad was mostly iceberg Lettuce and a few slices of veggies. Pita and dressing was good though. Pizza crust is good but pizza had way too many onions and was just average. Nice staff, though not particularly attentive.

We arrived at the restaurant to find that there is no air conditioning. The temperature in the dining rooms was 85F+, and there weren't even fans to help cool the room. We left as the experience was already poor. It was obvious we weren't the first, as we told the hostess it was too hot to eat, especially for the cost of dining there. Afterwards we found several people who had similar experiences and did say the food was not at the level expected.

Good restaurant: Outdoor seating was nice; service was efficient but not particularly friendly; food was good but a little bit on the heavy side (can't complain though, as in line with how it is presented in the menu and expectations); food is Italian-American, rather than classical European-Italian; prices are quite elevated but in line with the other restaurants of the village; in short, a good but forgettable experience.

We visited JDâs/Saki over our long weekend getaway to Ptown and enjoyed both happy hour and dinner on the deck bar. Happy hour oysters were delicious and very obviously well priced at happy hour. The drinks were also reasonably priced for the downtown area. We enjoyed some sushi as well which was delicious. We enjoyed ourselves not once but twice the same weekend at JDs and are a fan of the fresh food, reasonable menu prices and attentive bar tenders and staff. When we visit the area again we will definitely be back!

Since 1988, Montano's Restaurant has been treating residents and visitors of North Truro alike to authentic Italian cuisine that's made from scratch the old fashioned way. With pasta that's crafted in-house and cooked to order, homemade sauces, and pizza
We ordered take out dinner from this restaurant on a weeknight. Service was good and our meal was ready when promised. Clam chowder was on the thin side and seemed somewhat oily. Few clams and potatoes. Contained fish that did not taste like clams. Overall, had little flavor. Pasta is homemade, but tasted doughy and heavy in the linguini with clam sauce. Lots of pieces of fish that did not taste like clams. Overall not much clam flavor. Lasagna had little sauce and little meat and seemed greasy. Wouldn't recommend.

There have always been several excellent restaurants in Provincetown, unfortunately some have lost that standing. Front Street, however continues to hold it standing as an stellar dining experience. It has long been a personal favorite. The food and service are first class, and the space, though not typical Cape Cod, is still cozy. This is a secluded and closed dining room, so if you are looking for great views this is not the place. However if you are looking for a local gem with great food, great service from a well seasoned staff, and charm you have arrived. Reservations are a must!
