Family run business, nice ambiance tavern-style, popular with locals. Great service, funny waiters, very cheerful and helpful. They bring some second helping without asking which is nice of them. Good house wine, especially white. Definitely will recommend it to all customers.

Due sorelle, anzi due gemelle: il sogno di una sognato e realizzato anche per "trattenere" l'altra. Una bella storia di donne, di imprenditorialità , di grande amore. Questo ed altro in questo bel locale nuovo, di tendenza, in cui è possibile consumare ottimi aperitivi e snack, comodamente seduti nella bella lounge, senza fretta, guardando attraverso le grandi vetrate a panorami decisamente belli. Tanta cura, tanta attenzione, tanta cortesia e tanta pulizia. Ottima la posizione, centralissima: mi rivedranno molto presto :)

Agriturismo stupendo in mezzo ai monti. Camere confortevoli, cucina tradizionale con prodotti tipici, piscina ben curata e maneggio. Il proprietario, Nicola, la moglie ed il figlio Giacomo sono delle persone eccezionali. Prezzi modici. Consigliatissimo

The service was excellent. Our waiter was very good, but not overly attentive. Since we were planning on a large dinner in the evening we had a light lunch of antipasti and a Prosciutto and pineapple carpacio They served a variety of locally crafted beer that were excellent and had far more character than the standard beers that you get in Italy.

Il locale è molto semplice, accoglienza calda e gioviale. Offre un menù completo dagli antipasti ai dolci e una grande varietà di pizze. La mia pizza ai funghi porcini era strepitosa. Lo consiglio.

In this part of interior Sicily where the typical recipes are not lacking, this restaurant has an anonymous environment (typical of the premises suitable for large banqueting, as this is) and a menu rather standardized, as you might find in much of Italy. In the long list of the menu there are few dishes that can be considered typical not of Nicosia, but even of Sicilian cuisine.It is also not to overlook that no desserts are available, except fresh fruits and standardized ice cream.Some of us then have opted for those few dishes which - based on declaration of the waiters themselves - could be considered as local and typical: the "Maccheroni alla ghiottona" (ie macaroni gourmand, really thick spaghetti with a very rich sauce) and the "Bistecca alla Torretta", ie beef slices wrapped in melted local cheese.From here on, there's the positive sides (and, I would say, typical of much of inland Sicily).First, all the dishes (typical regional or not) were exquisite. This certainly applies to the above mentioned "Maccheroni"; but also to the mixed grill, which included lamb, sausage, pork chop and the already mentioned "Bistecca alla Torretta".Secondly, the servings were very abundant, such that someone could not eat what he ordered.Finally, the value for money was extraordinary. 4 Euros for a first course and 7 or 8 Euros for main dishes that I mentioned, is in fact a relatively ridiculous figure compared to standard Italian ones.Now you know what are the weaknesses and strenghts of this restaurant; so you can decide for yourself if it's worth a meal.

We found this place after wandering around Nicosia. We asked a policeman where we should have lunch, and he directed us to the next town. Perhaps he wanted to get rid of us, but it didn't work, as we found 24 Baroni around the next corner. Fabulous appetizers, pasta and veal dishes, accompanied by local wine and beer. Dolci made by the owner/chef's mother. This was one of the great meals we had in our ancestral town.

Franco and his family treated our family to one of the best meals we've ever had! We came to the gate of Agriturismo Oasi Basciana without a reservation, and Franco generously welcomed us and started bringing out course after course of incredible farm-fresh Sicilian comfort food. Everything was AMAZING. Many types of housemade salami and cured meats, smoky and salty, with figs fresh from the tree outside. I could taste the grass the pigs had eaten. For the primi piatti, Franco brought us homemade thick spaghetti with a robust rabbit ragu. For secondi, a beautiful pork chop with tons of mouth-watering fat along the edge and milanesa on the side. Then, a plate of fresh fichi d'India. And then - saving the best for last - Franco's wife made us homemade cannoli. These were the best cannoli we had anywhere in Italy. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and were made to feel like family. I would recommend Agriturismo Oasi Basciana to anyone looking for a true slice of authentic Sicilian countryside food and hospitality. Thank you, Franco!

Great food, we had braesola and Rocola, pasta alla scoglio and grilled meats. All cooked to perfection in a friendly atmosphere and priced reasonably. The manager offered us limoncello on the house, nice touch.
