This was a family run Greek restaurant that had opened fairly recently. They were very friendly, food and service was very good and it is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Went with a family for an early meal and the restaurant well caters for the early diners with children. Italian food was very good and particularly enjoyed the veal. Only downside during the warmer months is with the doors open to the street and the traffic noise especially buses and motorcycles.
My husband and I were staying on Collaroy & were trying to find a takeaway for dinner - something that we'd both enjoy. We decided upon Ocean View Gourmet Takeaway because I felt like pizza, but my husband felt like ribs & wings. We ordered through Menulog (and paid through PayPal) and requested that the food be delivered at 7pm - it arrived right on time, and was nice & hot. My husband absolutely loved the ribs & wings, and my pizza was delicious. It was very easy to order and we were extremely happy with the service. If we were ever in the area again we'd come back for sure.

Luckyâs and Pepâs is an unassuming Italian restaurant in the Forestville shopping centre in Sydney. It has outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. We have been here twice and never been disappointed with the food. On our recent visit, we had the veal saltimbocca and the Millane pasta dish as mains. The veal melted in the mouth and the pasta had giant prawns as part of the tasty dish. The couple next to us had the Marinara pasta and a steak and both declared them mouth-wateringly scrumptious. The chocolate mousse is also worth a try. As we visited on the night the heavens opened and Sydney had its worst hailstorm in 30 years, we moved indoors and the owner kindly gave us the dessert for free to acknowledge the inconvenience, so great customer service as well. They did seem a little understaffed for the time of the year preceding Xmas, but canât fault them on anything else.

Iâve been coming here for many years and apparently there has been a recent change of ownership.I hope it is just teething problems but this is not the same restaurant. The specials were âoddâ in design. The service was attentive but not well trained. The food delivery timing was all over the place. The chips here used to be fantastic. Theyâve switched to polenta chips only and all kids at the table said they were gross. Again, an odd decision. Thankfully the BYO is still intact as the beer and wine choice were limited and âno nameâ. In summary my hope is that the new management can right this ship. If not, one of the most reliable restaurant in Newport is gone.

Alfonso's is a friendly, casual neighbourhood cafe open for breakfast and lunch. Wood fired pizzas are available on Friday nights accompanied by live music.
It was by thankful happening, that we came upon this boisterous and happy place in the thick of Avalon's wooded suburbia. A tightly run family cafe that celebrates its Latin roots in all things colourful, tasty and vibrant, this is a must stop if you're exploring the northern beaches of Sydney. If you're lucky like us, you'd be seduced by the charm of Alfonoso himself on the guitar with a voice that adds verve to your coffee and meal.Thank you very much for your kind words Stefan. I am glad that I was there to serenade you!! Please come again.

Family owned restaurant tucked away in Avalon''s charming laneway. Regional Italian cuisine from Napoli and the beautiful Amalfi coast. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Bookings recommended.
Family run restaurant. We had the assorted Pizzete Fritte [$22] as starters; yummy. The special kumera Ravioli was great [$27ish]. The Black Mussels were very good [$28].Food is good and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and efficient.

You could easily walk past this little gem. Unassuming, almost clinical with a standard kitchen layout, very clean, a little indoor seating, and little stock standard italian trinkets and a local favorite. After trying the pizza and tiramisu i could see why. Recommend the Michaelangelo - it is really delicious. As well as their tiramisu - this is what people want when they order tiramisu soaked, liquer laced, fresh mascarpone - perfecto!

The team from Ormeggio at The Spit bring you Sotto Sopra, an Italian Woodfired Trattoria on Sydney's northern beaches. Sotto Sopra is fully licensed and BYO wine every day of the week. It serves Italian inspired, produce-driven dishes in a relaxed and inf
If you are spending some time away at Palm Beach/Whale Beach side, this place is well worth a short drive for a great dinner. It is not your usual Italian fare but something more sophisticated yet simple and done well. The kingfish crudo and carpaccio was a great start, followed by squid ink tagliolini with julienne calamari and peas and the house beef pie. All were just delicious. The last test was to order a tiramisu and it did not disappoint. It was light and fluffy with the right amount of alcohol. This place has daily specials which sounds great, pitty I don't live in NSW to go there more.Grazie mille! So happy to hear that you enjoyed your meal with us! I know the team will be thrilled to read your review. We hope to see you again very soon!
