Worked last month in Freiberg and ate out almost every night.Was overjoyed to find a great restaurant serving non-German food (tired of meat and potatoes?). The entire kitchen and staff are Italian, the owner/manager is born to do this. In my humble opinion this is the best quality food in Freiberg. It certainly is my favorite. If traveling here I would recommend it above all others.... unless you just can't get enough heavy food.

This is by far the best german restaurant hands down second to none. Must place to eat. Only 10 min from stuttgart airport. Hard to give you a recommendation to order. Everything is the best you have ever tasted and pretty darn quick. Though, my all time Favorite is called the PASTA CHEF! I challenge you to see and taste for yourself. Also, very very affordable! Not to mention the very professional staff from A to Z!

My friend and I both had pasta dishes, and both of us were very happy with the food. It was excellent indeed. The waitress, who spoke good English, was very nice too, patient and very friendly. The prices were agreeable as well. We will definitely go there again if we revisit Chemnitz one day.

Nice little and very clean restaurant. Solid selection. But: - nothing simple and easy for kids.- a little too expensive for chemnitz and the quality. Found a little packaging string in my pasta for example. â¬95 for 4 ppl.- service was ok but not super friendly. Asking kids for something to color AFTER everybody was done with the dinner isn't exactly what I expected.Short: ok but anything extraordinary.

This is one of the best restaurants in Frankenberg, but the prices are a bit high for this region. I've been coming to Frankenberg for 20+ years, and have watched Italian places come and go. This one has a great location and the outdoor seating is really nice on long summer evenings when the daylight lasts til 10 pm. Like in Italy, the portion size of individual courses is bit small for the price you pay, but the goal is to get you to order several courses. Our group did just that, having appetizers, pasta dishes, lamb chops, and of course a few desserts. Everything was nice. The service was quite good. They immediately brought a high chair for my nephew, and it continued to be good all throughout the meal.I suspect I will be back here next time I'm in Frankenberg.

Das Augusto ist mehr Bistro als Restaurant, aber sehr gemütlich und ohne groÃen Schnickschnack. Rot-weià karierte Tischdecken, Selbstbedienung, kostenfreies Wasser, wohlfühlambiente. Und die Pizzen haben ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Wir waren zu zweit zum ersten mal in diesem Lokal und hatten glücklicherweise reserviert (Mittwoch-Abend in Chemnitz!), denn alle Tische waren belegt. Allerdings ist der Gastraum auch sehr klein, die Wirtschaft lebt zu einem groÃen Teil von Gästen, die hier nach einem Bestellanruf ihr Abendbrot abholen. Dadurch (häufige Telefonate und am Tresen wartende Gäste) wird die im Ãbrigen schöne Atmosphäre leicht beeinträchtigt.Auf dem Tisch standen Oliven und Brot. Wir tranken preiswerten Hauswein und speisten Tomatensuppe (sehr gut), Tomaten-Mozzarella-Salat (sehr gut) und zwei Pasta-Gerichte (beide gut), so dass wir nach einer reichlichen Stunde zufrieden wieder aufbrachen.Eine klare Empfehlung für einen guten, preiswerten und fast authentischen Restaurantbesuch a la Italien.

Great place to spend an evening. Big choice of beer and high quality food. The pub is very cozy, but quite crowded on Friday and weekends, so you better make reservation in advance.

Very close to Roter Turm shopping mall.There is a very tentative desserts show fridge right behind the restaurant door.Tiramisu was tasty and taste liked those traditional ones I tried in Italy.... it worth tasting indeedThe take away service was very efficient and friendly

First, we were pleasantly surprised at the taste and quality.On our way back from Italy, frankly speaking, we were not expecting Italian food at this pizzereia in Saxony to be much better than some ristorantes in Como.We all had to share and taste what everyone ordered just to make sure there is nothing wrong with us to get so impressed.Service was also excellent and there was a small playroom for kids who got bored among adults.Then, we were impressed again by the story told by the owner of the hotel we stayed at.When Pizzeria Amalfi received a warning of flood in June, they kept calmly serving customers until the last one finished, and then, evacuated everything to a safe place.Amalfi was flooded up to the chest, but there is no trace at all of June flood when we visited there on the 1st day of August.Not only they restored Amalfi in such a short time - clean and spotless - but also kept their spirits high with spotless smiles. Bravo!
