Nunzio Cassara is an Italian (Sicily)Born Chef that brings New York City experience with the Mediterranean food of his heritage to create a fusion of traditional and chic in Morristown by serving fresh, seasonal ingredients executed properly. We do not ha
The food is very good, authentic Italian. It is right next door to the MPAC. Prices were a little bit higher than I thought they would be but overall you get what you pay for. Not much available for children to eat on the children's menu but they were very accommodating to us. There is a sharing charge but it is minimal.Fever,Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback, we appreciate it. We offer 8 choices on the kids menu chicken fingers and grilled chicken, grilled cheese, spaghetti with meatball, ravioli, pasta with butter and cheese, penne vodka, mac & cheese, mozzarella sticks etc... these are most of the kids favorites could you tell me what else we could offer? Please let me me know.

Always a good night at Verde, place is comfortable (although they could upgrade their chairs) and the food is always good. They serve delicious mashed potatoes and veggie with entree except of course pasta. Portions are large. The best chicken piccata. Salads so fresh and cold, loved the eggplant rolantini. Will always be a fan of Verde when looking for an easy going place with good Italian food.

Evoking memories of bountiful âSunday Suppersâ where families gathered around the table to share recipes passed down from generation to generation, Millieâs Old World Meatballs & Pizza is bringing that same convivial feeling of a close knit Italian family
Got a coal-fired meatball pizza here. Thought the taste overall was pretty good. There was probably a bit too much of the cheese mixture on it. Not sure how coal-fired differs from wood-fired in terms of taste. This pizza was fairly expensive. The staff were friendly.

Having just come from Rome, Italy, I hadn't gotten over my taste for Italian cuisine, and specifically, Roman food. (Yes, different cities on the Italian peninsula have their own particular dishes.) On a long road trip, I checked into a Morristown hotel for an evernight stay and went downtown looking for an Italian restaurant. Luck was with me when I found Guerriero. Great food from antipasto to dessert. You can order off the menu or even order a special dish. I did that by ordering pasta carbonara - a Roman dish - and it was as good as that I had a few days before in Rome. People around me were all enjoying their dinners, I saw classic spaghetti and meatball dishes and chicken-parm being sefved in generous portions making me wish I had an extra stomach. The owner, a very pleasant gentleman who I describe as a senior citizen, personally went around greeting everyone - including me. Realizing I was a new customer, he proceeded to invite me for dessert and espresso, his treat, at one of the sidewalk tables. In the half jour we spent getting to kniow each other, he was greeted, hugged and even kissed by almost everyone who walked in front ot the resdtaurant. It is quite apparent, that he is well-known and loved in this town. For dessert, try the zucchini flower - unique! Moderate prices and great service in a restaurant where the owner personally makes certain everyone enjoys his meal and the ambiance. I will definitely eat here again next time I drive through Morristown.

We found this to be a reasonably priced typical New Jersey Italian BYO family restaurant. Nothing disappointed us but there again there was no wow factor. The restaurant is clean and fresh and the service is cheerful and friendly. It is situated about half a mile from the center of Morristown in a street of domestic properties. Parking is available close by.

Great quality Italian deli food- this is a hidden gem in Denville center, and it is NYC quality. Has a few comfortable tables by the entrance and the deli behind it. Great soups and sandwiches, and good for taking out cheeses, meats and prepared food. Caution: it gets very crowded on Saturdays so if you are in a rush, leave it if there's a crowd.

White tablecloths, elegant flower arrangements, Stone walls and arches, mood lighting hanging from the ceiling and soothing woods, You can choose a table or booth. The Grato is sure to impress. The ability to impress will cost you more but it is worth it. I had the prosciutto and mozzarella ( roasted peppers, basil, ciabatta bread) $10.95. My date had the broccoli rabe, lentils and pecorino) $7.95. The pasta is homemade or at least tastes it.Both lunch meals were delicious, The menu is extensive. The hospitality starts when you enter the door and the service is professional. They have a private parking lot. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, free WiFi, take-out and a full bar. My one complaint is that the wine by the glass is more than I care to spend.

Fine dining at it's best. Beautiful, elegant "old fashioned" European ambience and impeccable service. Our family, six adults and four children were celebrating the family patriarch's birthday. We started with champagne toast for adults, milk for kids:) The appetizers were various choices of salads, mixed greens, Burrata, mine was a tasty roasted Golden Beet salad. The entrees were all classic Italian pasta dishes, and my son enjoyed the Short Ribs with Risotto .A stand out entree was the Lobster Spaghettini - with half lobster tail - that several of us ordered. Very tasty and spicy. They made a mild version for the 12 year old. My husband's Pappardelle ai Porcini that he orders any chance he gets when we travel in Italy, was delicious. There were meatballs that the kids loved. The desserts were great as well, I loved the Poached Pear and their Hazelnut ice cream. We opted for an early reservation as we had young kids with us. They are old enough to behave and to enjoy the festive ambience, the elegant surroundings, the beautifully set up table, the chance to dress up. Our server Niko, was wonderfully attentive and took great care of our whole party. My son praised the restaurant's impressive wine list and we enjoyed his selection. All in all, we had a wonderful time and plan to come back soon !

Very nice place. We were there on a weeknight and were seated right away. It was a light night with only a handful of patrons. The décor is nice and warm and the service is great. The wait staff is very attentive and polite. The food however, is average. The plate that was put in front of me reminded me of a meal at a Convention Center, where they are servicing a thousand people at a time. The obligatory vegetables, a brown gravy and the ordered protein. The vegetables were steamed carrots and broccoli â really, at a local bistro. Surely you can do better than that. The brown gravy was tasteless, lacking any character. The protein was overcooked, dry. It was not much different for the other dishes brought to the table. For a local Italian Bistro the food should taste like it was made with passion. No passion here! I would really like to see this place succeed. But, I think they need to put out way better dishes than they are currently doing.

We had read some good reviews on Parsippany's Best Pizza, so decided to check them out. We ordered Pizza Fries, Salad, and a Pizza. We waited in their seating area, which was a bit tight, but it was no biggie since it wasn't crowded. All of the food we received was good, especially the Pizza Fries. They top their Pizza Fries with Pepperoni, which I had never seen before. They were delicious. It gave me a few ideas that I will try at home sometime. The people working there were also nice, so it turned out to be a positive experience.Hey Hockpooh, We are so happy and delighted you enjoyed our food especially our pizza fries! :) Thank you for giving us a chance and we hope to see you again soon!
