Not been there for almost 10 years, we tried it again on our way back from Verona. No change, still very friendly and cool. Excellent food for a very good price. We would have loved to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings, but it was simply too hot. A great place for a relaxed lunch

Positioned along the river, in a beautiful location with plenty of parking and live music.Taverna, Restaurant, versatile kitchen with wide range type of wine, beer, whiskey and tea.
Very nice pub with a good selection of draft beers and craft beers..a nice garden outside where they serve food .The staff are friendly and compitent..the owner and manager Gabriele is an expert on whisky and champagne. Not easy to find but defenitly worth a visit.

We arrived early at a half-filled restaurant. Seated on an enclosed porch, we were not especially pleased with the appearance of the restaurant. I would describe the decor as homemade with low-grade materials. The menus were also rather shabby, but the entrees sounded pretty good. The restaurant seemed to specialize in fish dishes, but neither of us were up for that. We ordered Tagliatelle con Porcini, Petto Anatra Arancia, Rosso Saline Gozzi and Semifreddo Pistacchi. Our food took a long time to arrive and in the mean time we struck up a conversation with people on the neighboring table. They too had been waiting a long time to be served, and when their orders arrived, they were missing items and there were items they had not ordered. We had better luck than our neighbors, but were rather disappointed with the quality of our meals. Nothing stood out as better than average and some items were barely acceptable. Perhaps the problem stemmed from the size of the kitchen. I do not know how good food can be prepared in such a tiny, primitive space. The service was spotty and unhelpful when there was a problem. Oh, there were lots of apologies, but little in the line of remediation. At 43â¬, the meal was quite overpriced based on quantity and quality. Despite the great smell of the grilled fish, we would not return.good morning, sorry for his bad experience .. the restaurant was renovated in June 2017 and I assure you that the matreiale is not poor .. remembered the fact of waiting if you order 1º with a second to be able to wait longer. believe me if I could widen the kitchen I would have already done, and our equipment is cutting edge and not primitive! in addition the red salt costs ⬠17.00! removed those from the bill would have spent ⬠13 ... is normal!

Recommended by our hosts we ate on the veranda as the sun went down. Chicken cooked over a hot wood fire maybe for a few moments too long. Justifiably in the top order. So nice to be greeted at the door or on arrival.

I have not eaten as good pizza as these for several years.Wide selection (perhaps even too wide) with many different ingredients. They have a short beer card with about 10 imported beers, which for me is a good combination with pizzas.Service was very nice.I would definitely recommend this pizzeria.Just as an info: There was a notice inside menu they are changing location sometime this year to another place in Monzambano...

We visiting several restaurants around the Garda Lake, this is definitely the best one for us. We visited in the group of six including two 4 year kids. The staff were very friendly a the food simply great. Recommend the Garda antipasto misto and great beef tagliata.

In the heart of the Morenic Hills, in few kilometers from the center of Monzambano and the main towns of the southern Garda Lake, is staged, the spectacle of nature and of traditional Italian cuisine, in a place enriched by a terrace in a beautiful courty
My family and I had dinner at this "agriturismo" restaurant. We were seated outside on the porch, which would not have been our choice, given that we were in the middle of a brutal heat wave, and mosquitoes were rampant (a fan would have remedied both problems). The service was very good, and friendly. I think that the "primi" (first courses) were better than the "secondi"--I am not sure if it is just what we ordered (the duck, which they said was their specialty, but was not as good as we'd hoped), or generally true of the menu. I loved my zucchini crepes (a first course), and the antipasto platter was very tasty and appealing. My kids enjoyed their pasta (with a duck ragout sauce) but the main course duck (served with polenta) was shredded in a salty sauce; we wished we'd ordered something different. I give "Le Spighe" four stars, but my husband would only have awarded three.

genuineness, courtesy, friendliness, simplicity .... if this is what you are looking for in a pizzeria you can find them here. Average prices with pleasant alternatives to pizza

This restaurant is a little bit off the beaten track, but still within walking distance from most hotels. The interior is modern with pictures on the wall of the film "la doice vita', a classic from 1960. The service was attentive but not pushy, and all the food and wine we ordered were excellent. Nice and fresh, well prepared and beautifully plated. The price/quality ratio of this restaurant is excellent. We went to la dolce vita on our last night in Sirmione, otherwise we would have returned the following day. Highly recommended.
Lovely staff. Really delicious pizza. I had the buffalo mozzarella pizza and my husband had the calzone. The mozzarella was really delicious. Both pizzas were so tasty. Lovely relaxed evening. Will be back.
