Reviews on Italian food in Montgomery, Ohio, United States. Montgomery is a city in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States, settled in 1796. The town was a coach stop on the Cincinnati-Zanesville Road, later known as the Montgomery Pike, with an inn, two taverns, a grist mill and a carding mill to process its agricultural products. It would remain a rather sleepy hamlet until the 1960s when it became an affluent bedroom community for people working in Cincinnati. It retains its historic downtown with many other 19th-century houses scattered throughout the community. It is currently accessed from exit 15 off Interstate 71 and exit 50 off Interstate 275, and it is the eastern terminus of the Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway about five miles northeast of the Cincinnati city line. The population was 10,251 at the 2010 census.

In Cincinnati for the weekend and my girls wanted pizza. Found this via TripAdvisor. Our waiter was awesome. We asked for no onions on the pizzas (ordered the Florentine & Fajita) along with antipasto with meat on the side. He caught the no onions thing and asked if we wanted on the side for the salad. Pizza was delicious! Added this as a place to stop back at next time down this way.

My wife and I decided to have Buca for the first time, after hearing high praise from family and friends. We made the trip to Norwood after work and thought it was going to be a pretty exciting little adventure. Our waitress was wonderful. She was doing the best she could with what she had to work with but the drinks took forever from the bar (about 15 minutes) and our appetizer order was placed with our entree order..which was a big mistake. Our appetizers came out after an abnormally long period of time and our food followed about 15 minutes later. Our food, however, was lukewarm at best. My assumption? Everything was ready at once but they sent the appetizer out and kept the entrees back and they got cold in the interim. I had high hopes but there was a certain sense of "dirtiness" around; the floor needed cleaned, there was something sticky on our table, and the women's bathroom was dirty (according to my wife). Was really disappointed especially for the price and the distance i drove to eat here.jvaughn742, we're sorry to hear about your dining experience on your recent visit. The idea of Z Place for Wine is to create a comfortable environment for enjoying wine, most of which in the store is harder to find selections from smaller vineyards - the hidden gems. We pair these wines with cheese and other food to increase the enjoyme
The town of Montgomery has a very charming "New England" small town feel to it they really take pride here in creating and maintaining this feeling.Z Place Wine and Cheese unlike other wine shops really reflects this feeling with a very warm, inviting "home" feel to it. The wine selection is fantastic! predominantly smaller production, hand crafted boutique wines that real thought was put into in creating this line-up. The shoppe host wine classes on Thursday and tastings on Friday and Saturday with friendly knowledgeable staff that truly extend themselves. If you're looking for great wines and an opportunity to taste them, learn about them and have fun in the process, this is your go to spot. Why bother going to a big chain store you won't get the service, selection or home feeling that you get here.

We received a coupon for a free pizza, so we tried Brooklyn Pizza on Montgomery Road. The pizza was very good. Thin crust and a nice sauce. It warmed-up well the next morning for breakfast with a little more grated parmesan cheese. Their prices are very reasonable. The antipasto was pretty basic, but cheap. Looks like a family business. We will return.

We have been to Forno in Hyde Park a couple of times, but planned a group outing at Houdiniâs Escape Room and had reservations at Forno close by. I highly recommend the reservations. We arrived on time and had to wait about 10 minutes for the table to be cleared. Gave us enough time to get a drink at the bar. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. Many of the couples in our group wanted to split dishes and the brought out two plates of each so it was already split. Very much appreciated. The beet salad was amazing. My husband ordered the pizza with garlic and chili oil. I had the bolognese which was amazing. Highly recommend it. Thank you so much for joining us this past weekend! We look forward to hosting you again soon and thank you for your kind words regarding our featured salad, Marinara pizza and Bolognese! Katherine General Manager

Get a reservation, gets busy, don't worry parking around back. Got seated right away. James was server, he was gracious, knowledgeable. The bread is yummy, then tried the culiflower soup, amazing. Then on to house made pasta with Bolognese that is some of the best I've enjoyed. Nice Italian wine by the glass. No room for dessert which looked scrumptious.

It is many years since we dined at Maggiano's, but it will not be long before we return. It was a birthday dinner for my wife and we could not have chosen a better venue. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. Our server, Shelby, was excellent, very courteous, warm and friendly. She asked if it was a special occasion and when told about the birthday she later returned with a card and a coupon for a future visit. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming and all of the servers were cheerful and appeared to be enjoying themselves. We started with "stuffed mushrooms" followed by a side salad and then our entree's were "stuffed scampi" and "chicken saltimboca". All the food was well prepared and there was ample entree so we took some home for dinner the following evening. To complete the evening there was a plate of lemon cookies for my wife. All in all a very enjoyable evening. We are already thinking of a good reason to return.
