you have to pre book and best to go as a group ...we went for the 35 euro a head all inclusive menu...unlimited and decent wine and the most amazing variety of dishes from Ascoli stuffed olives right through to roast abacchio (lamb)...i have a huge appetite but just could not keep up with the quantities despite everything being delicious...order for 3 and eat as 4 and keep room for the desserts

Simple excellent Italian food. The view alone is worth the visit, but add in the friendly service and fantastic food and you cannot really go wrong!

We were so impressed by the amount of food any of the 8 different meals we've ordered contained! No matter if you order pasta (the wild boar one was interesting indeed - in the good way) or the standard "schnitzel" with fries, you'll get plenty of food on your plate, to get out of there satisfied. I also tasted the "cantucci al vino cotto" as a desert - what a joy for the taste buds. Be aware! It is NOT a desert for children! :-)

Opened in 1963, Ristorante Dei Priori is located in the splendid Piazza XX Settembre in the heart of Monte San Martino. The restaurant has seating for 140 people inside and 30 outside. The rich menu is prepared by the executive chef Angelica, tempting gri
We visited this restaurant when on holiday in the area and found the food to be absolutely delicious. It is a family run place with the usual telly in the corner Italian feel. Check before you arrive to make sure they are definitely open as they are closed on Tuesday evenings. Highly recommended

I went to I Tre Pini on a Globus tour of Italy. The resturant was seriously the best resturant I have ever been. The Location is beautiful in the Tuscan Hills. Your treated with fragalino, wine or beer, delicous appeatizers, Pasta and Prime rib not to metion the dessert. I'm going back Italy in July 2012 and i will be going back to this resturant for sure.

Ideally, we would live in Ortezzano, so that we could eat here every day.The views are quite simply stunning. The food utterly delicious. We particularly enjoyed the pasta with guanciale, chilli and tomatoes. The pork was mouthwateringly-scrumptious. And the melted chocolate pudding with homemade, delicate mint ice cream was second-to-none.Whilst very friendly, the staff are highly professional, making this an unforgettable supper to be repeated as often as possible.

We went here on local recommendation, there were four of us plus a baby. The location is amazing with views over the valley. The waiter was friendly and he also "was the menu". For each course there were roughly four choices. We had all the antipasti choices with the highlight being the carpaccio of beef which was delicious. The mixed meats and cheeses were good too.For primi, our part had tagliatelle with mushrooms and spaghetti bolognese both of which were good, but the best was the fried tagliatelle balls which were sensational. For secondi, we all had the beef which was good, the offer of a salad or veg accompaniment came a little late but we for that nonetheless. We had their own wine and some bottled water. All in all it as a good meal and the price was very reasonable.

Inside, the stone and brick interior takes you straight back to the 15th century; outside, there's a view of the breathtaking countryside. Even better, the food is a top-notch representation of the area-- simple, delicious cooking with fresh, local ingredients. We love the mixed grill, the fried olives (a local specialty) and one of the best mixed salads in the region. The pizzas are also quite good-- a very thin crust that's markedly different than the usual Neapolitan variety. The wine list features plenty of the best local names, and the host is humorous and friendly. We love to start our visits to Le Marche with dinner at Farfense.

A spacious, original brick vaulted ceiling restaurant with an underground wine cellar, two wells and a wood-burning pizza oven. For outside dining there is a charming courtyard with stunning views across the countryside. Award winning food, with locally s
If you expect typical Italian food in this British managed restaurant, it might not be what you get after the brilliant Focaccia nobody should miss. The Italian based food interpreted with international ingredients cooked with great skills is exceptional. I had one evening as main dish lamb knuckles cooked more than 5 hours - a dream. We have had 4 dinners and all of them were stunning.Madelineâs wine knowledge and selection as well is a dream.Combined with the fantastic staff and owners ... go there and try yourself.Tim and Madeline thank you very much for your effort.
