Il Padrone is slim, diminutive and extremely active watching over this terrific restaurant with great attention to quality and detail. The food is excellent and well priced. The pizzas are outstanding and even a coeliac like myself can easily find yummy dishes throughout the menu. Service is fast and accurate. Very strongly recommended.

My wife and I ate dinner here after walking from Bolsena on the Bia Francigena. We wanted seafood and were not disappointed - the acciuga (marinated anchovies) appetizer was fantastic and we both had fried lake perch (even though I had ordered the baked perch)- still very good portions and flavors washed down with a nice local wine !

Near to the lake - so you can watch the gorgeous sunsets. The restaurant makes the best pizzas in town - and believe me I know. Excellent steaks and giant hambergers too. Since there is a little park all around it - it is also a safe place for kids to run and play while their parents linger with their coffee.

Delicious really fresh fish, well cooked and at an extremely good price. This place is great value. Pasta with prawns was superb. Seabass was baked with potatoes and onions and cooked to perfection. The special vegetable of the day was stuffed courgette flowers which were light crispy and very tasty. Happy friendly atmosphere and everyone was enjoying themselves. Nice touches of a plate of bruschetta when you sit down and yummy crostada with your coffee. We'll definitely be back. Montefiascone is really worth a visit and Lake Bolsena is nearby.

The Pescaturismo "The Fisherman's Hut" is directly handled by two fishermen. The best place to taste the fish of Lake Bolsena. Directly on the shore of the lake. All organic and natural. Boat trips on the lake characteristics.
What a find! Riccardo was the most amazing host, despite having had an accident and 20 plus stitches in his leg the previous day. The setting is enough itself, and we let them just feed us. We were absolutely stuffed, and the bill was absurdly low.thank you for your compliments .Flatter us .We are very happy to have passed some pleasant hours .We hope to see you soon .

The food in this place is innovative, great quality and incredibly good. To top things off the service is just great! This owner is the chef so these people know how to combine great service with great food!We were a group of 10 people and all of us loved the appetizers, main courses and dessert. The started we took consisted of cold cuts, focaccia (so good) and carpaccio of mushrooms. These all tasted divine but the top thing to try is the pasta. It is fresh pasta and the texture is just perfect. The warm tiramisu was divine and definitely the best dessert I tasted. It is a bit on the pricey side but the food was incredible and it was worth every euro.Anyone traveling to Montefiascone needs to try this place out.Great place!Grazie mille delle bellissime parole scritte per noi.Speriamo di rivedervi presto a Montefiascone un caro saluto Marco e Mammapappa

They seem to be saying and doing everything to produce a good meal but when it arrived it was just average. It's like they had looked up in a book what to do but not learnt how to do it.I do not remember you, and I don't know if and when you came. I regret the contents of the review as you express a simple opinion on the fact that we just "copy the recepies written in the books", which is actually something entirely far-fetched. You could spare you this offensive expression, commenting simply that you don't like the dishes. After all we can not like to everyone

We had a very pleasant lunch in a square just over the road from the main restaurant. The roasted vegetables with different types of mozzarella was more than enough for two people, as a starter. The zucchini, eggplant and red capsicum were grilled to perfection. The array of pizzas was most inviting and the sizes were enormous, so much so that we had to take the uneaten portions away.Total cost including a bottle of water âfrizzanteâ came to â¬33.

Four of us enjoyed lunch sitting outside yesterday. We shared two antipasti- a vegetarian and "house". After that a very different carbonara made with chick peas and a spicy Viterbo pasta. We were pleased we had room for desert as the ice creams were absolutely delicious. Home made. Good selection of cakes and pastries too. Very nice service from our helpful friendly waitress who spoke good English (and some Spanish too as she was able to chat to a table of Spanish tourists). This somehow still feels like a place for locals with men putting the world to rights over a coffee, a resident cat who likes sitting on your knee and families popping in for an ice cream. Inside is huge and we hear the pizzas are excellent. We had lunch here after a super morning at Villa Lante and the extraordinary Gardens of Bomarzo - il Parco dei Mostri.
