"Ponti Oscuri - la Hostaria" is a small restaurant situated in the ancient town of Sant'Elpidio a Mare (Marche Region), in a typical alley of the medieval village. The new management proposes the dishes that have made it famous in the past: a typical loca
We were between Porto San Giorgio and Porto Sant'Elpidio for outlet shopping, and decided to Sant'Elpidio a Mare for a stroll and possibly early dinner. The only place which drew our eye was Ponti Oscuri as they had a menu board outside as well as a couple of tables. We entered and found the dining room in pastel colours was very inviting and the reception welcoming. After being seated in the corner, we looked at the menu again, and were delighted to see salad choices, which was just what we wanted. We ordered the grilled chicken salad, olive ascolane, fritto misto, half litre of Passerina from Montelparo and mineral water. The food was very good and the ambience was relaxing. The bill for 2 came to 29.50 Euro. As we forgot some sunglasses there, we returned for lunch the next day, having some fresh pasta dishes and a delicious dessert, finishing with coffee. The bill was 34 Euro. Highly recommend this good value osteria, with professional staff and spotless environment.
Monte San Guisto is a love little town with nice appointed history marks including a great painting by Lotto, but not many food optoins. This little pizza sell slices for between 1 and 2 euros and many options and it has beer also. They are open in the afternoon until late night. This is just off the little piazza and the owner pizza guy is super nice. ..

Summer luch or dinner will be served on the terrace overlooking the Macerata hills. Indoor nice too.Emanuela, the owner and her staff will serve you as if you were at home. The menù changes often and is entirely made from local products. The antipasti are great. The pastas are served to perfections and the meats/fish are very good. The deserts are nice. The local wine is ok but various labels available. Really nice!

Assurdo. Il locale è ampio e sembra ideale x comitive e famiglie. Molta gente del posto o clienti dell'hotel.

The only inconvenient thing about this otherwise fine restaurant is the narrow unpaved connector road to the property, which can be quite tricky should oncoming traffic come your way.The food is excellent - especially the dishes with sirloin strips and the semiffredo desserts. Ask for the nice Cuban waiter

Pizzeria at the plate and cut, take away, and which can be enjoyed on the spot at the same price. Wood stove and electric oven. On request also pizza with spelled flour or kamut flour and also GLUTEN FREE. You can find rich and fresh salads, delicious ham
A local Italian friend of ours took us to this hidden gem for a traditional Italian pizza. We were welcomed in by husband and wife owners who made us feel very comfortable even with a slight language barrier. The outdoor terrace was buzzing with locals and the traditional indoor set-up was very homely. We tried a number of the pizzas (all amazingly thin crust and delicious!), highlights were - truffle and Italian sausage, potato and bacon, and zucchini and bacon. Once the owner found out we were tourists visiting the area he insisted on us trying their home made hamburger on the house which was amazing! We highly recommend you try this beauty! If you are visiting the Montegranaro area, stop past Pizzeria Le Scalette, it's the best pizza we have had in Italy and a local favourite! To Stefano, thank you for your hospitality, love The Aussies

Had lunch in this traditional Restaurant in the Marches'hills. The pasta was superb, from the Maccheroncini al ragù to the pasta al farro with artichokes, tomatoes and local bacon. Their "supplì" with peas was a suprise: hand made Supplì - not fried - but in umido ( steamed) with pork meat and scamorza cheese inside, surrounded with fresh peas. The steaks, eccellent and their Cheesecake: unbelievably super good; tasky, light, not tto sweet. Wow.The house wine was appropriate but there is a pretty vast wine list.
