I first went to Buon Gusto over 30 years ago when I was living in SSF. Went back for lunch with visiting friends today. It not only had phenomenal food (we had the special sole in a lemon caper sauce) which was a generous portion of perfectly cooked fish, but I remembered the waiter who has been working there for over 30 years!Hi Dlh,Welcome back and thank you for all of your kind words. It's wonderful to hear that your lunch was phenomenal and our server took great care of you. We hope it isn't 30 years before your next visit.

Inspired by classic Northern Italian cooking with California influences, Rocca Ristorante features delicious veal, chicken, seafood and house made pastas â the signature Osso Bucco is not to be missed! The breathtaking décor boasts a spectacular Florentin
I feel bad reviewing this place as average but itâs the honest experience that I had. On one hand, the staff was great and really were attentive to the entire group (visited with several friends). The water glasses were filled regularly and they followed up when our alcohol selections were getting low. On the other hand, the food was inconsistent at best. The salad that I ordered, the Rocca Italian, was nothing more than a grocery store bagged salad put onto my plate with a very pedestrian dressing. The main dish, Salmon, was charred appropriately but was completely over done and dry. The desert, Creme Brûlée, was the saving grace here and was expertly prepared. To say that it was inconsistent is perfectly appropriate but i do wish I could rate it higher because of the serving staff. The ambiance is nice, high ceilings and decor that screams âItalyâ so itâs ok in that regard. I probably wouldnât come back but if I did, I would try another dish in the hopes it hit the mark. Overall it really was just an average visit and as I expected more it did slightly disappoint.

The ordering as you enter and then getting the food is little awkward, but the items on display before ordering make it easy choices.Choice of wine makes it marginal. The pizza, and we had three types were all very good. The olive dish and the salad are a must.A new category of pizzeria. Excellent outside seating as well.

Gnocchi starter was great. Sage sauce and garlic was delicious. Had the pear ravioli which was very good. Wish there was more. Salad was a solid effort. Desert of affogato was fantastic. Others had the chicken parm, awesome and the veal. All enjoyed. Skimpy chicken portions but great flavors. Service was good despite a full house.

Thanks to Luis and Luis, both my servers. I was traveling solo and appreciated the extra attention to make me feel at home. I had the sausage and veggie on polenta. The dish was fine with nice bits of fresh zucchini and would have been enough for two. I would have liked a selection of more Italian wines by the glass, but I guess I am in California. They were very generous with their Chianti Classico. Iâd had a rough day and a bit of extra wine and tlc turned that around. It was the outstanding service and homey feel made this restaurant special.

This is a great down home Italian restaurant. The food is excellent along with great customer service. Great place to get together for late lunch or early dinner. I had the Ravoili & Meatballs. Someone else had the Penne, Spinach & Pollo. All the food dishes that passed by us looked really good! I went back 2 weeks later for take out. My take out bag was heavy it was filled with extraâs. Yes! I will be returning for the best Italian food in the area. Oh! Try the Minestrone soup There is plenty of street parking. The restaurant is small you might want to call to see if reservations are needed. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. You can also purchase wine with your meal. OâSole Mio is a restaurant for one, two or a large family.

A friend suggested this place and accordingly, delicious pizza. I beg to differ! Unfortunately, I didnât agree with her. A medium pizza costs $28 while small size costs $26. Their pizza is a little doughy and nothing special. It is also oily. With the tax and tips, our medium pizza which is 6 slices costs me $42. Way too expensive for a mediocre pizza.

We came for dinner before a red eye flight. It wasnât very busy for a Tuesday night, but it didnât matter because the food was great! They customized spaghetti and meat sauce with a little light cream which made it a pink sauce. My family has the Fettuccini with chicken. Everyone loved their food. We didnât need appetizers or dessert because they served a lot of food.

We were at a hotel nearby for an early morning flight. No great dinning option around, the front desk recommended to order from Zorba. We got our awesome Pizza delivered directly at our room door in timely fashion. Very tasty.
