The restaurants forming a row in front of the private beach area vary little in price, even offer the same kind of Mediterranean food mainly based on seafood and pasta. I chose Festival for the bright white decoration and a shade in the burning sun. My lunch was grilled small octopus with vegetables followed by ice cream, a bottle of absolutely drinkable tap water was brought to the table without hassle. I was happy to linger on the terrace reading my book yet once wondering why Italian tourists want to pack themselves in tight rows of lounge chairs and pay heavily for it.

This great little restaurant is tucked away in Plaza del Campo. The food is fresh, well prepared and well presented. The staff kept an eye on all our needs without hovering. Food quality is superb and prices fair. We will certainly eat here when next in town. Worth noting is the 20% discount you receive on all entrees when you book a reservation on line through The Fork/Trip Adviser . We loved the spahetti frutti de mare and veal Milano. The house wine was also quite good and reasonable.thank you

Me and my boyfriend came here on our first night in menton. The food was lovely and there was a good selection to choose from. Slightly on the expensive side However the service was excellent and I would definitely return to this restaurant especially for their lemonchello cake!!!

We took a break from the beach and had lunch here. Two different pasta dishes, both of them tasteful. The pasta vongole had tasteful clams and freshly made pasta. The sauce had a little to much olive oil, but overall good. Fair prices and good service.

Near the covered market, in a pedestrian street, they come to Sini to eat breakfast, drink coffee, taste the local specialties and the famous pizza al taglio...
I have written several reviews about Sini and some were moaning about service. Problem solved. Also, there are new yummie items on their pizzaish menue. So, everything is now perfect, ambiance, service, lunch offer, location, prices, coffee standard. If in Menton at midday, this is da place.

As soon as you get into a restaurant you can guess when they take their profession seriously. That was our impression at Le Galion. You could see the Chef and his staff diligently working. The food was so good that one wonders why this place does not have a Michelin star ? This is beyond understanding, since at other starred places the food lies far bellow its level.

On our first visit we reserved a table for two. Excellent friendly welcome on arrival. It was wise to have booked because soon the tables began to fill up. It became obvious that Little Italy was favoured with regular clientel as well as visitors to the city. Extremely well presented tasty meals followed. Lovely wine and coffee too. On departure we received complimentary small glasses of Limoncello. A nice touch. Two days afterwards we decided to reserve a table and once again very much enjoyed our evening meals. Again the restaurant filled-up by 8.15 p.m. By far our best dining experience in Menton and at prices not 'over the top'.

The restaurant was quite busy allthough it is not in the most touristy place. The restaurant had an okay atmosphere, but it was quite hectical. We had the beef tartar and one of the today's special, giant prawns and spagetti. The beef tartar portion was huge and the meat tender. It had a little too much roquefort cheese in it, but overall good. The pasta diah was also huge. The pasta was fresh and home made, but the sauce was quite tasteless and the giant prawn was clearly overcooked. Too bad as it could have been so much better. Might be worth a second try, but not quite sure.

Restaurant, bar, live music. Open from 9.30 till 00.30 Mediterranean cuisine. Tapas in evening. Live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Brunch on terrasse lon Sunday. Closed on mondays. Friendly attitude.
We arrived at 11.15 am; most tables had 'reserved' signs on them but were unoccupied. We found and sat at a table without a 'reserved' sign, whereupon a very rude waiter declined to serve us a coffee. A colleague of his then agreed to serve us, but was prohibited from doing so by the first waiter. Pity as the location is excellent, but we will never return. We wonder whether the owner knows that customers are being turned away!Hello, thank you for your comment. The restaurant does not have many tables as you could see and we are fully booked almost every week-end. You sat on a « reserved » table without asking anyone. Usually, in the « modern western world » :), you wait someone to place you.I suggest that next time: you book, and introduce yourself at the entrance to get your table as everyone does. Thanks for understanding.Regards.PLT
