Cute, romantic, a byob a plus great friendly service, but the food.. Italian cooking with no passion, lacked herbs, garlic was disappointed, they tried so hard too. It's bad when you can make a dish better than a restaurant. Loyal regulars from the looks of it, I just expect more I guess.I would not recommend, but you can try it for yourself and see, maybe the chef had an off night.

A regular destination. We come here in small to large groups often. The food is always excellent and we are treated like family. The proprietor has a wonderful operatic tenor voice and will lead a chorus of "Happy Birthday" or offer his rendition of "O Solo Mio" when appropriate. I recommend Sunday Gravy or Zuppa di Pesce.

We had dinner and drinks at the bar. The bartenders, Erica and Karmen, were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The service was fantastic - we didn't feel rushed and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We highly recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere, food, and service.

New Jerseyâs Famous Panatieriâs Pizza & Pasta Italian Restaurant offers Italian family recipes that are made fresh daily using the finest quality ingredients. Proudly established in Bound Brook in 1991, Panatieriâs is still run by founder, Chris Panatieri
I've been eating here for lunch frequently and they are very consistent: good crunchy "medium" crust, lots of toppings, good flavor, and a great selection of pies. They also have excellent hot, sweet wings and cuban-ish sandwiches. My current favorite is their white broccoli and cheese. I think they've upped their act over the couple of years or so - I used to avoid this spot and now I love it. In Martinsville and environs there are various different styles of pizza. This spot focuses on crispy, thin but not too thin crust and they also offer thicker crust choices (think Sicillian), but no super thin crusts. There are two fairly small dining areas separated by a decorative brick wall. The larger space has a large mural of Italy painted on its long wall. We generally order at the counter and have the food brought to our table. There is also complete waitress service if desired. The slices are good sized; there are 5 wings to an order. BYOB (it's Jersey). Great for a quick lunch in a nice environment. Yummy.

We always have our business dinners here because the food is fresh and well prepared, and everyone leaves happy.Everyone enjoyed their dinner, only one complaint that the swordfish special was a tad dry.Don't forget your wine it's a BYOB and you should reserve it is always busy. I will return and recommend.

It had been over 35 years since we had visited our hometown. So, ironically, this iconic Somerville restaurant was "new" to us. Thanks to TA, we quickly decided this was the place for us (it didn't hurt that my namesake is Fillipo, after my grandfather).. Little did we know it was BYOB but fate was on our side as we happened to have a bottle of Valpolicella in the car. As is our typical fare, we shared a 4 course meal of bruschetta, arugula salad, risotto (the half-portions were huge!), and a perfectly prepared yellow perch. Service was outstanding and well paced, of course. We met all the GC's (who wished us a good evening) and thoroughly enjoyed an authentic evening in Italy. Molto Bene!!

The 5 of us enjoyed our Spartan Style Lunch. Wood fired, blackened pizza and a choice of 4 interesting salads. Pauline offered us jelly jars for our Wines (BYOB) The Pizza chef was friendly and was happy to bake our pizza our way. We met the Owner. He started out with The Lombardi Pizza Truck and became known for good pizza and good coffee. The coffee is indeed very good.. Fresh, strong, hot, hearty, and $ 3. a small cup, and well worth it. ( we brought our own biscotti)

In one word - Outstanding. This is one of the best italian we had in recent times. We had an amazing dinner, excellent food and a great service. A family run cozy and warm italian restaurant that you would like to come back again. Restaurant with good food and service does not need marketing or offers. Customers will come back again when the quality is at the best. This restaurant does not have a bar but you can BYOB.
