A cool, modern location where you can have a fast and good lunch also with a larger group. There are several dishes of the day.
The restaurant was a pleasant surprise for an Italian doc, who rarely ventured into Italian restaurants outside of Italy. The atmosphere is typically Italian with refined style. The dishes are excellent with original ingredients. The guest immediately feels at ease, thanks also to the great cordiality of the owner, an Italian native of the magical Sardinia. A note of merit to the wine list, with an excellent selection of the Tenuta S. Antonio winery in the province of Verona. The wine is offered in an excellent value for money! Thank you guys

Cafe und Restaurant an der Lahn gelegen mit Blick auf die Oberstadt
When we arrived in Marburg, we were looking for a payable opportunity to have dinner. When entering the place, it seemed very quiet and we were a bit worried about the quality. We were, however, very wrong! A very nice place to have dinner! The service is very friendly and the food delicious!
Nice Italiaan restaurant. I have chosen a dat dish: pasta gorgonzola. Very tasty. Good portion. I enjoyed less that the owner did find it necessary to speak italian all the time. It spoilt the lunch and gave me the feeling of a toerist trap. Which this restaurant is certainly not. I had to pay 4,50 for a "crodino" which was certainly high and out priced.

Since it was chanterelle season and this italian restaurant served pasta with «pfifferlinge» we had to go here:-) The restaurant is not big but have a cozy athmosphere. Staff is friendly and attentive. Our pasta with chanterelle was very tasty, our prefered wine was sold out but we where recomended a different kind that was very nice. Tasty food and not expensive.

It's like being in Italy while staying in Germany. The owners will treat you like family guests, service is friendly and always with a smyle. Food is 100% italian style and flavour and the pasta will surely be "al dente". Fish is fresch and simply cooked. Try it, quality/price is excellent.

The owner himself served us and he was so friendly. We were seated outside on the side walk overlooking the historic market palce in the old town of Marburg. The pizza was excellent and so were the appetizers Burgundy snails and the Italian salad. If you look for good italian food do not look further...go to the Valente!!!

Not a place you can easily find. Certainly not a place you would expect a great restaurant, it being the place to eat at the tennis club. Also in the restaurant you will be given a bog standard German menu. Just ask the waiter for the Italian specials of that day, because depending on what the chef can find fresh in the morning that is what he offers in the evening. . I have eaten in many Italian restaurants, Rebot in Milan was very special. Gamberoni al forno on the harbour at Populonia. In Italy you also do not need to pay a lot for good food. It can be the best in the world, but so seldom outside of Italy. Generally like most ethnic cuisines they morph into the bland tastes of the host country. Not in Casa del Tennis. It helps if you can speak a little restaurant Italian and have a very good memory (it isnt written down) . What you will get will transport you into the heart of Italy. Also you don't have to play tennis

If you want to try Auflauf (the dish that Marburg/the surrounding area is particularly known for), this is a great place to do it. The Auflauf is a bit heavy, so keep that in mind. There are also other food options. The inside is really cozy, with big windows and good lighting. It's good for small and large groups, and is quite inexpensive. The beer is also great. Can't recommend this place enough!
