Romano's Trattoria Pizzeria provides pasta, homemade soups, pizza and subs in the Marblehead, MA area.
Romano's is a Marblehead staple and the same family has been running it for years. They have a distinctive thicker crust pizza with a great flavor. I personally like it for the additional dinners they serve like Lasagne and Meatballs etc. The subs are good as well. I prefer this restaurants options over Comellas if you aren't looking to feed a crowd.

Fresca means âFreshâ in Italian and goes along with our concept of fresh made from the scratch. Our Handcraft Pizza and Pasta are seasoned with all the experience of our Chef Pizzaiolo becoming more creative and tasteful! Marcos Santana is a passionate ch
We have been enjoying Frescaâs food for a couple of months now and have been really happy with everything we have had. Until yesterday we had only done takeout, but the dine-in experience was great. Sitting at the counter and watching the kitchen staff work with their big, beautiful wood-fired brick oven was fun and only made us hungrier. By now we have had a few of their incredible pizzas (definitely try the Summery with shrimp and sweet corn), some salads and sandwiches. The salads have always been fresh and full of tasty, creative ingredients that all blend well. The sandwiches all come in bread baked to order in seconds. Yesterday we tried one of their pastas and were really happy with that. All of their pastas are made in house and you can absolutely tell the difference. We love the food and the staff is very friendly and happy to explain their menu and their choices. I would strongly recommend giving them a try.

We have been ordering pizza, cobb salad and I Claudius sandwich from Cafe Vesuvius for a long time because they are very good (the canoli's are a treat!). However we recently ordered a chicken caesar and chicken kabob salad and they were awful. The caesar in particular: no romaine, no parmesan and one crouton. Limp, bland and tossed out. The kabob salad was overwhelming with ingredients, over-flowed the plate and was a total distraction. Also tossed. For the first time since ordering from them we went hungry

Not sure how long Marblehead House of Pizza has been open but we have been coming to Marblehead for more than ten years and we are pretty sure it has been open much longer than that! The pizzas are baked in a pan in a standard pizza oven, but this is is not traditional Chicago style thick crust, nor is it New York City style thin crust. It is somewhere in the middle of the two and very good. The pan allows the crust some body, but remains crispy not fluffy! See for yourself; we have been to the shop multiple times in the past ten years and know we'll continue coming back!

After walking around the wharf we were looking for a lunch place that wasnât seafood, stumbled upon the little place. Really wasnât sure of what to expect as the menu is small but we were not disappointed, we split a strawberry fields salad and a pizza, WOW, both tasty and just enough to keep you running around for another 4 hours! A little gem stop by

I stopped in here because of the location & because the bar itself was visibly appealing. I did not eat here, but several folks around me at the bar were eating, & seemed very happy with their food choices. I was served a cold beer by a friendly bartender, & was clearly surrounded by repeat customers. This is a place worthy of a return visit.

We had dinner here and for an Italian Restaurant, we were slightly disappointed.Table was incredibly wobbly; they had no ice cream; lemon sorbet was straight out the freezer and inedible for the first 10 mins. Cover charge of $5 above the normal cost for having a shared meal. Food was fine and the service a bit hit or miss. Very small tight restaurant. And quite dark inside.

Everything was delcious: the cream burrata with balsamic vinegar, the tender octopus, the very unusual kitchen-made Calabrian pasta - a little spicy, the very tasty chicken marsala, AND the most wonderful cannoli we ever had the joy of eating. Kind and helpful waitstaff, and a wonderful setting for spirited conversation over full glasses of vino rosso.

Half price Appertizers at the Bar from 4:00 -6:00 every day .
We dined with friends here recently and enjoyed the relaxed and friendly environment and the delicious homemade rolls. They served specialty drinks which were creative and tasty - i.e. a lemon basil martini. The menu had many choices and we each ordered something different. The only dish we would not order again was the lobster ravioli - the tomato sauce was overpowering for the lobster. Otherwise we enjoyed the meal and the comfortable atmosphere. I'm sure we'll return.
