Lovely location right on the water. I stopped for lunch on a wonderfully sunny afternoon until the rains (and downpours) came. The pizza preceded by salad was wonderful as the rains came. The staff were heroic in first serving in the drizzle and then relocating inside. I enjoyed dessert inside. I recommend no matter what the weather.

We visited as a group of three adults and two children under five. The staff were brilliant with the kids and the childrenâs menu went down very well, in fact they ate loads! Our half pizzas were huge and very tasty. Cooked in an authentic, thin crust manner with powerful toppings these were a pleasant surprise away from the standard mock Italian restaurant pizzas you so commonly get.Service was quick and the surroundings were comfortable and very clean. Probably the cleanest bathrooms in a restaurant in town if you measure restaurants by that sort of thing! We had a great lunch and would love to visit again next time weâre in town. Perfect for big groups of friends or couples.Ciao j_parkin, Thank you very much for giving us a good rating. We were pleased to have you with us. And we're glad you enjoyed your meal. As you may have noticed, all our dishes are freshly prepared "Ã la mamma" in our open kitchen. So our guests see first hand what passionate Italian cooking is like. Cordiali saluti! I live in LG and ITALIA is my favorite italian restaurant in Lüneburg. It's in a nice half-timbered house, the interior decor is nice too. They have a very good cuisine and this place is good for a romantic dinner as also for a family dining. But it's a little bit out of the city centre and so you will probaly need a car if you don't wanna take the 30 minutes walk from the city hall / market square. If you're looking for good italian cuisine you inside the city centre you may check "Ristoarnte Buona Sere" only a 3 minute walk away from the city hall. They have excelent selfmade pasta. But I can recomend RISTORANTE ITALIA and the prices are reasonable.I think they are closed on mondays!!!!PS: The people in Lüneburg love to go out for dinner, so a reservation will be recommendable in every good restaurant.

A very nice Italian restaurant on the main square (Am Sande) in Lüneburg. Food is always delicious, service is very friendly and efficient. I would recommend this place for lunch and for dinner, as well as just for coffee and cake. It is good for friends and family as well as for business visitors. In the summer one can sit outside and enjoy the view of the main square. It is also quite nicely decorated inside, and is a mixture of business and traditional style look and feel. Will come again.

This place is a hidden gem. Came a Thursday and the place was packed. Both pizza and pasta dishes are great, staff are friendly. Both food and atmosphere is excellent.

We went there for dinner a total of 9 people. We found a table outside for 8 and asked the waiter if we could have another chair. He said yes and just pointed to a chair at a nearby table, showing no interest in getting it for us. Then he gave the whole group 1 menu. We asked for more and we got one more. No wine menu, so we had to ask again for this. It our kids hadn't´t been so hungry we would have got up and left. No one came to get the drink order. After 10-15 minutes they came to take the food order. The food came quite quick, but we had gotten no cutlery. The food was good. Both pasta and pizza. It took a long time for them to clear the tables. No one asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. We just wanted to pay and get to one of the many nice places close by for some good coffee. The total check was 126 EUR. We gave the waitress 130 EUR (and we did not want to leave a tip). She just took the last 4 EUR without asking and never came back. Avoid if you can. Instead, try the really nice Tante Käthe next door. Super friendly service and great quality of food

Average food. Very slow and a little bit rude service. Not enough space between tables. We will not repeat again.

Reservierung unbedingt erforderlich. Ruhetag sind Montag und Dienstag.Guten Appetit und Genuà ohne Reue !

Supposedly Italian food. I say supposedly as I did not find the food very Italian. But the food was absolutely ok, just a bit disappointed. We had several starters, all good. The Saltimbocca was made from pork, not veal, but quite tasty nevertheless. Some friends had pasta with too much sauce. Ended dinner with a "pannacotta" which was nothing less than a disaster. Far too much sugar that completely shadowed the fine nuance of boiled cream that distinguishes a good pannacotta.
