Thank you Restaurant Alicia, you made us feel so welcome and the food was great. We loved the quiet charm sitting outside under the orange street lights. We had Carbonara Tagliatelli and margerita Pizza's which we all thoughly enjoyed. You looked after us and ee hope to visit again one day if we return. Thank you.

Service sympa.

Via Mercato was not our first choice, we came here because another place was closed. At first we didn't even recognize it as a restaurant - from the outside it looks more like an Italian traiteur (deli shop). The restaurant is huge and not very refined : plastic tables, paper place mats and napkins, as in a factory canteen. The food (individually prepared in the open kitchen) is the same : huge portions, not bad but not very refined. Not very expensive either. Quick but impersonal service. If you're going for a quick and filling meal, this is the place. If you like something more stylish, go somewhere else.

We came across this restaurant by chance. It is located in the side street. The meal and service were excellent. We had Leffe Blonde on tap which was excellent. There isn't much choice in Lens for dining. This is little Italian gem worth exploring. If in Lens then seek out this place.

We were in Lens and were tired and hungry after a long day.We got in without a booking and our waitress was very friendly and patient with our terrible French. The pizzas are well priced and offer an interesting selection. Having chosen, we ordered and were asked if we wanted to eat straight away - we said yes and, to their credit, the pizzas arrived promptly. However, the chicken on my partner's pizza was clearly undercooked and actually raw in the middle. We pointed this out to the waitress, who at first didn't seem to see what the problem was, but she did eventually take the pizza away and return with a non-dangerous version. The pizzas were ok. Not the worst I've ever had, but far from the best.Oh, and the restaurant was really cold, too.
