We went for dinner at Corte Forziello as Bosco was closed. As it happened this was probably a better choice. The restaurant has a large covered patio(too chilly on a September evening) and two inside dining rooms, the larger of which is clearly a function area. We dined in the smaller room , the meal was excellent, particularly the pasta and beef dishes, we chose a bottle of wine although I noticed that all the Italian guests took the house carafe red), service was good and the bill very reasonable. All in all thoroughly recommended if you are in the area. Some sites stated that the restaurant was closed, this is definitely not correct.

Very good offer of food and wines and excellent service. The restaurant is located in a commercial zone and caters to the people working there. In the evening, it is visited by locals who enjoy the very good food and the tasty wines. So, this is a place to have a very good meal at reasonable prices but not for a candle light dinner. We had antipasti, cold cuts, pasta and also meat dishes which were all of excellent quality. The sparkling wine from the tap was fresh and tasty,Grazie Francesco

I'm from Verona and I have been traveling in the US. Since I love meat I've tried a lot of different restaurants but the feelings I try here every time I go... they are just unique. You need the car to reach this place that is right in a little town just outside Verona (about 30 minutes driving from the city center). The food is so good, the wine selection pretty big and even if its a lil pricy... you will go back!

Pizza mediocre ma soprattutto mediocre l'offerta del menu (non per numero di piatti ma per tipologia), la presentazione degli stessi, tutti molto scontati e "popolari". Personale gentile.

The Trattoria Montecurto is located in the heart of Lavagno, a few steps from Lessinia and Verona city. The restaurant, fully air-conditioned, consists of two rooms of approximately two capacities on the street level, and a quiet outdoor plateau bordered
Mixed feelings...the place is nice, the food is good and the wine is fine. If they can improve the quality of the service the total experience would be muche nicer...staff looked pissed off and slow...not the nicest feeling when you're a customer.

Our last night in San Martino BA was a night of celebration in 2012. We played in a fantastic baseball tournament in San Martino BA. We had just won the tournament and we were all starving. Our newly made young friends suggested this pizzeria and we have not stopped going back. We had a group of 50 and they were able to accommodate all of us. The meals were reasonable and surely tasty. Since then we returned in 2013 and we are now planning our 2014 return. in 2014 we will just be passing through one of my favorite little towns in Italy - San Martino BA.

I'm not usual to do review, but this is the right time. I apologize for don't take a photo before the dessert. My first serving was dumpling garnish with duck... Sooooo amazing!!! And the second plate a typical Verona plate: "Lesso con Pearà ". This is absolutely the best place in Verona to eat that meat. I'll come back.PS. Also good wine ;)

Our hosts in nearby Colognola ai Colli recommended this restaurant and we are SO glad they did. After a drive through lovely vineyards we found the restaurant in an elegant old house, and our family of 6 had our own private dining room. We started with a warm welcome from the charming proprietor and her kind son who speaks excellent English. The local, seasonal menu includes handmade fettuccine with asparagus, rabbit with polenta, delicious contorni, local cheeses with homemade jams, and a strawberry dolci Iâm still thinking about days later. It was a delicious experience and we left thinking, âTHIS is why we come to Italy!â If youâre touring Soave or Valpolicella or visiting the Verona area, make sure to stop in for a special, authentic experience.

We visited for lunch. The restaurant is situated on a quieter street alongside the river, away from the crowds of the centre of town, but still close. Food was very good quality and both food and wine reasonably priced. Very much recommended.
