Joseph Marrello grew up in Italian kitchens where cooking and entertaining was a part of life. He first started working in his family restaurants at an early age. In 2002, he opened the first of his Marrello Restaurant Concepts, Bellini's Italian Eatery.
Stopped for lunch and ordered the half and half pasta bowl. The sausage and meatballs were good....the vodka sauce was lacking in flavor and was more watery than expected. Overall, not a bad lunch option....generous portions and decent prices.

I called prior to coming to politely ask about allergen concerns on the menu (which I had reviewed before calling) to ask if options would be available. Rude and bothered was the attitude I received on the phone for a simple question. The food took over an hour to come out and it was only okay. Our server was rather unfriendly. Really disappointed in my first trip here. No point in coming back for a disappointing visit at a more expensive restaurant.

Itâs been a few years but we went back to Buca while in town. We had a small mixed green salad (overpriced!) it was okSmall chicken parm (reasonably priced) delicious!Large spaghetti and meatballs (overpriced)It was ok. Nothing spectacular. Side order of Brussels sprouts ($15 ridiculous) Should never have ordered them. They were cold and hard. Tiramisu (expensive for the portion) this is not the same old tiramisu that we used to love. Small portion. Felt like it could have been a mistake. Will not return. Sad. Thank you, 6happyhikers, for choosing to dine with us at Buca di Beppo. Simple - best pizza I'd say in capital region. We drove from Guilderland to get sliced! Lots of cheese great dough and not too thick. Hard plaza to drive into on Route 9 so come from 9S

Start with several appetizers - caprese salad, antipasta and the spedini. The spedini and caprese salad were outstanding. Bottle of the hook and ladder pinot noir. Main entree - the Veal Madeira. Colleagues had the Chicken Madeira, Mediterranean salad, and the Chicken Parmigiana. Everyone was very pleased. One had room for tiramisu for dessert.

Ordering chicken parm seems like such a safe bet at an Italian restaurant. However, I couldnât even finish mine. The sauce had an odd âfishyâ taste. The chicken and cheese seemed almost flavorless. My friendsâ dinners were also mediocre. The server was aggressive about us ordering drinks and appetizers. We ordered strawberry lemonade and it was just terrible. Tasted like fake strawberry flavor syrup had been poured in. Plus neither the lemonade nor water had enough ice. And why do they ask if you want bread? Overpriced and under flavored. Hello,We always want your service and meal to be perfect. We're sorry we let you down.
