After having only lunch here, my husband and I recently had our first dinner and what an excellent meal it was. We had a great table by the window/fountain and enjoyed several delicious courses while enjoying fabulous service. The portions were more than generous and I left with enough for another meal. We would highly recommend.

Food is a very important part of the italian culture and varies greatly from region to region. While I have been heavily influenced by the cultures of Sicily, Arosso's menu is not limited. At Arosso we pride ourselves on our ability to make your every occ
It is HOT inside. Not quite as hot as it was outside today, Father's Day, 2018. We asked them to turn up the air conditioning, they did a little, but, I was sweating as I ate. I had Shrimp Scampi which was absolutely delicious. Had eaten there before and it was hot inside then. Don't expect anything fancy, ceiling tiles are warped and askew, there's an air duct hose just hanging there, it's an old building that could use some rehab inside. The wait staff was very good and friendly. No complaints other than the temperature. My dad enjoyed his meal, that's what's really important.

Bertucci's restaurants are firing-up brick ovens from New England to Virginia, each reflecting the distinct character and local charm of its community. Like the original Bertucci's, every kitchen is open, making our brick oven part of the restaurant exper
Does anyone ever read reviews about chain restaurants? Probably not - but I'm writing this nonetheless. This was the second time that I attempted to order takeout food and the second time that they forgot part of my order.A few months ago, they completely left out an entree. After a phone call, the manager credited my card. This visit, they forgot half of my entree. Fortunately, I checked before I drove away. I returned and told the person at the register that there was no pasta with the eggplant. She replied that it comes with broccoli. I replied that there was no broccoli either. I asked for the pasta and she repeated that it came only with broccoli. I reminded her that is not what is says on the online menu. Continuing the debate, she said, "Well, if you wanted pasta you have to order it." Again, I told her that I ordered the pasta when I placed my order on the phone. What an ordeal for a small serving of pasta. Although polite, she was resolute that I had to plead for the pasta.Sadly, what actually prompted me to write was sitting at home with this miserable food. The eggplant was so greasy that we just threw it away. The salmon entree was the size of a child's portion and overcooked.Heather H, we're sorry to hear about your recent takeout experience. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us and make us aware of your concerns. We'll be sure to share your review and feedback with our local management team to address your concerns and improve our guest experience. Once again, we'd like to thank you for taking the time to write this review as we greatly value your feedback and would sincerely appreciate another opportunity at serving you better in the future.

Was here last week and hubby and I shared one of the pannini sandwiches, and also my order of eggplant rollatini. BOTH were excellent.! Went here today with a friend for lunch and I ordered the Florentine pannini - WAY tooo dry....NOT the usual quality.. Winston took care of replacing lunch with eggplant parmesan and THAT was good. Will still continue to go here, but need to work on making sure pannini is not dried. Thanks for your taking care of the situation!!!

This was our second visit and this time was even better! The food is top quality and the service is just as good. We dined on a Saturday night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The only negative was that it was quite noisy because it was very crowded. To start our meal, we had roasted squash with sausage. This was a nightly special so it may not be available, but it was excellent. For the main course, my wife had the butterflied veal parmigiana, which took up the entire plate. The homemade sauce and tender veal were great. I had veal saltimbocca which was also very good. For dessert we had limoncello in a flute glass. The waiter knew it was our anniversary so he added candles which was very thoughtful. If you are looking for some excellent Italian food and service in Newtown, you must give it a try. You wonât be disappointed.

I took my parents here today for lunch. My mother has always enjoyed it here so it wasnât hard to talk her into going. We were seated quickly and served almost as fast. The waiter spoke Italian which made it an even better visit. Without prompting the waiter came over during the meal and asked if we needed water. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. Great Italian food at a great price. Well worth the trip.

weâve been here many times and every time is consistently wonderful! the ambiance is cozy and relaxing and beautiful ..... the food is out of this world delicious, fresh, new and inventive dishes all the time plus the traditional ones you always expect at a fine Italian restaurant ...... Pasquale and Anna, the owners, are committed to making everyone who comes in have an unforgettable experience ...... last night we had scallops and shrimp with a garlicky white wine sauce over a very thin spaghetti, created by Anna, just an amazing chef ..... beyond delicious! Pasquale himself seated us and blends right in with the staff making sure the evening is going smoothly for all guests ...... a âmust goâ experience in Newtown, PA

Gerome's has a great variety of sausage, as well other Italian things like pasta. We had a "tasting" party where we tried different kinds of sausage - liked them all, but always come back to the traditional Italian style - great grilled for sandwiches! Last time I visited, there was a customer shopping before she headed back to Maryland because she couldn't find anything that good where she lived.
