Reviews on Italian food in La Pineda, Province of Tarragona, Spain. The soft sea breeze, the crystalline waters and the tranquility are a few of the most important traits of La Pineda Beach. Almost four kilometers of beach lines the seafront promenade of this coastal resort. La Pineda has some of the cleanest, safest and environmentally best-managed beaches, as the Blue Flags regularly awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education attest. A wide range of activities can be organized right on the beach.

Only the sea that you can see from our terrace separates La Tagliatella, our Italian restaurant in La Pineda (Tarragona) from northern Italy, from where we bring the best ingredients directly to you. Sitting on this spectacular terrace, you can feel the s
The pizza here is as bad as it gets. Effectively a wrap with a spoon of passata with crap mozzalla thrown under the grill The water was really expensive too but nice...

The menu had mostly Italian style food and you could create your own pasta dishes by choosing a type of pasta and whatever sauce to have with it. I had gnochi with a tomato, bacon and onion sauce. It was very good. My starter was a platter with very thinly sliced beef, sprinkled with rocket and chees and drizzled with a nice dressing; served with a home-made focacio bread which was delicious. The house red was excellent

Great location just off the main sea front, very busy but great organizational skill by the staff who made sure that everyone got seated and made to feel special. Great atmosphere , not hurried to finish and move on from the table....will definitely go back..especially for the added bonus of a gratuitous lemoncello

Unfortunately came to this hotel on our last day but delicious pasta. At lunchtime the helpings were a little large but if I return to the area will certainly have another meal at this restaurant. The waiter and waitress, although their English wasn't great, were lovely and sign language worked a treat!
