I have been there or to their other location in Merkstein several times and I have never been disapdointed. The food was allways good (large choice of Pizza, Pasta, Salads, etc.) and the service was allways fast and friendly. From time to time we order Pizza at the Merkstein location for home delivery. There is also nothing to complain; quick delivery and good Pizza.

I love this place. I'm there at least once per month. Always fabulous service, desserts are outstanding. Cherry on the pie are waffles served during colder months. Prices are In line with portions so there is always room for good tip. Cheers guys - don't change anything!

This restaurant is located near the border to the Netherlands. They offer special deal on Thursday, all pizza & pasta plus one soft drink for 6⬠so make sure you reserve a table. We were a large group of 9 people and the staff took our order quickly. The whole restaurant was packed when we arrived so the staff had little time for small chat. But the food for all the guests arrived at the same time and were very warm. The pizzas and noodle were delicious. My husband had schnitzel and in my opinion, the sauce was a little too much. All in all, this restaurant offers a good deal but expect ok service and the whole restaurant will be a bit loud because of many guests.

De pizza's in dit restaurant zijn erg lekker en zijn absoluut aan te raden, doch wij zijn er in de zomer geweest en tot onze grote verbazing waren de terrasmeubels opgeruimd en moesten we binnen eten, waar het behoorlijk warm is. Daar het rond de 25 graden was, vroegen wij waarom het terras opgeruimd was. Het antwoord was dat er in de zomer te weinig personeel was om ook nog buiten te bedienen. Volgens mij behoort een terras gewoon open te zijn in de zomer, en zeker als het mooi weer is. Wij hebben dus binnen in een snikheet restaurant gegeten waar we eigenlijk alleen maar weg wilden.Men heeft een airco, doch die stond om de een of andere wazige reden ook uit. Ons toetje, een ijsje hebben we dus maar aan de overkant bij de ijsboer gegeten. Afhalen prima, maar wij zullen daar niet meer gaan eten, zeker met mooi weer niet. Een gemiste kans, want men heeft ruimte zat om rustig buiten te kunnen zitten. Vandaar de gemiddelde beoordeling.

Trying to find this place is half the fun. Tucked away in the hotel basement with amazing vaulted ceilings sits this little gem. We had a hankering for Italian on a Monday evening (when most of the Netherlands is closed) and although Luigi's was open, the limited menu offering for supper did not meet our needs, i.e. the chef does one dish that can be served here, otherwise you need to go upstairs to the restaurant. This night was a cod rissotto which didn't meet the hankering for pasta. Oh well.We persevered and had a glass of wine and a beer so life was good.Great spot, great atmosphere. Glad we at least gave it a go.

While staying in the Golden Tulip hotel (at wich this restaurant is located at the fifth floor) on sunday we choose to eat here, Food was prepared with great care, portions were fined. Professional and friendly service. Good prices.

I had a pizza contadina, there was too much rucola and cheese on it and too much uncooked tomato sauce, no mozzarella, the only thing I liked is that the pizza dough was good. What I mainly disliked is Berlusconi´s face on the t-shirt some of the staff members were wearing, as if he´s representing Italy. For an Italian a big shame, I hope you change that.

Been here two times now and both times the food was excellent! The 2nd time we had dinner outside, which was great. Only downside was the confusion about the 2-course and 3-course menu. Apparently the 2-course menu has different options, but we were not told about this so assumed that we could chose from the entire menu. They told us that they are changing the menu cards soon though, so hopefully that will also clear up the confusion! And in the end we were charged the price for the 2-course menu in spite of the confusion, so great service!

A very nice Italian (but not exclusively, definitely more than just pizza and pasta) restaurant. Not too fancy but also not too casual. Decent prices and good food. I personally recommend their deer (if it's the season for it obviously). Calling for reservation is recommended (but that's normal at most restaurants nowadays).
