Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Juan-les-Pins. Monet painted Juan-les-Pins. So did Picasso. If they showed up today, they'd find a youthful summer destination that centers on sunbathing (invented by Coco Chanel, some claim), casinos, nightclubs, and staying out late. TripAdvisor members say the one thing "JLP" lacks is restaurants, but neighboring Antibes, a short bus ride away, has more than enough to compensate.

Decided to stop off for a last minute meal after gift shopping.La Taverna looks like a cheap little bar that you might find in the Costaâs, very touristy. But wow, the food here was really very good.I had the oven baked Camembert, topped with Truffles (note not Truffle Oil) but copious slices of the stuff, and it was the best that Iâd ever tried. And all for about â¬18.00.Very fast service, nothing pretentious on the menu, well except for truffle-drenched-oven-baked-camembert , and situated a street behind the main tourist area.Fairly cheap eats, if that could ever be true for Antibes!

We ordered for the first time last night from O' petit Juan ...thinking the reviews were pretty good...we are pizza expert after spending so much time in Naples and Italy... the Pizza were bad, the dough tasted like cardboard (dry and taste less), the ingredients for a four seasons were weird was more like a kind of ratatouille with lots of onions and peppers. I had the Truffle one (15 euros) and was mediocre very plain, could barely Taste truffle with random pieces of Tomatoes which does not go together... a little bit of Roquette salad with Tuffle oil on the top would have been better...I do not recommend this place...

Just opened again following their Christmas break this restaurant dishes up very good food and congenial service. The cote de veau is huuge (so be hungry for it), and the prawn dish is lovely too. Book by phone. Wish they had a booking online facility, but perhaps not as I might not get a table. Not a cheap meal. Some wines can be a bit pricey, so stick with house. But so worth it.

Restaurant is a little piece of Italy in France. Interior nice, walls decorated by posters of different classical movies, Hollywood and Italian, but with the mafioso theme. We were impressed by the food and the flavours took us back to former vacations in Italy. Staff was very attentive and jokingly took care of all of us. As far as service goes this was the best restaurant experience after a week in Antibes.thank you very much for your wonderful opinion! We are very happy that you have found the flavors of Italy that we cherish so much. We do our business with passion and envy. See you soon I hope .

My family and I booked a table at La Tour Antique for dinner. It was definitely a great choice! After starting with Aperol Spritz, we had Risotto with saffron, Tagliolini with cuttlefish, Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and Sea bream fillet in crispy pistachios. They were all delicious! We dined outside in front of the restaurant entrance in a very nice setting. The owner is very pleasant and professional. If you are nearby Antibes, donât miss La Tour Antique!

We were spending one night in Antibes and decided to simply walk around the old town figuring out Being a family with 3 daughters, its never easy 1) to find an outside table in the summer and 2) to please everyone but the young woman hosting was more than welcoming - laid out an extra table and quickly understood when we requested an off menu simple dish for two of the kids!!!They were very accomodative in terms of special kids requests - and were more than happy to do it - and the dishes my wife and I had were excellent execution of classics !!!Will make it a traditional dinner everytime we are down in Antibes.

My daughter and I spent a few days down on the French Riviera. Juan-Les-Pins and Antibes are my favorite towns. We stopped at Mamma Miaâs for lunch after spending a few hours on the beach. Although they were technically closed for the afternoon, they allowed us and other customers to enjoy a late lunch. I had a pizza while my daughter ordered pasta. That was some of the best Italian food weâve ever had. The pizza had a super thin Italian style crust. The pasta was full of flavor. Romaine, our waiter, was super friendly and attentive. Itâs right across the beach and on the main strip so you can people watch while youâre eating. I highly recommend it!!

Little pizzeria and snack
Thin crispy crust balanced with proper amount of cheese, sauce, and toppings. Very light for pizza, not too heavy. Service was quick and friendly. Pizza served hot and prices are inexpensive. The chef is super chill and pleasant to chat with.

We had pizza calzone (12 â¬), pizza marguerite (9,50 â¬), Schweppes Argume 33cl (2 â¬), orange juice in a can (2 â¬).The place seems to be very popular for deliveries and takeaway. But many were also eating at the inside and outside tables (not a huge place). Calzone was a really good choice. It kept the contents hot for a long time even sitting outside in the wind. Also the content quality was high for that pizza (ham, mushroom, I left out the third filling by choice). Recommendable, would have the same again the next time, 4/5.Pizza marguerite was only 3/5. Slightly similar to a frozen pizza even. Well, that sounds maybe too harsh, it was not bad but the quality was not on the same level with the calzone.Service was nice. Would gladly return or order takeaway/delivery when in a need of pizza nearby.thank you for your opinion and your photos. we are happy for the calzone. the daisy is made with the same dough and the same ingredients. it could not be better.
