The dictionary says a pizzeria is: noun1.a restaurant, bakery, or the like, where pizzas are made and sold.Pizza Man certainly qualifies, but it offers SO much more. You'll find all the classic Italian dishes, along with homemade soups, hot & cold sandwiches, wraps, etc.The interior has a bit of a diner feel to it, but both the service and food are terrific. As far as I know, everything on the menu is available for dine in, take out, or delivery. No alcohol is served, so you'll have to settle for sodie pop.We are regular customers.
This little place has great pizza but it's only open for lunch M to F 9 to 3 which makes it hard to get there if you work! Of the few times I've been there it's been really good and it's cheaply priced. I've only ever tried their pizza but they have other menu items too. If you are in the downtown area for lunch on a weekday, consider stopping by here!

We came for lunch after church with local friends. The service was friendly but slow. The bread was tasty, and the salad was average. I got the penne pasta with chicken and veggies. When my lunch portaion arrived, it was huge. It tasted good, but it was drowning in olive oil. I should have said something, because when I got the to-go box and asked for them to drain the oil, the waitress said, "It's not supposed to look like that." Positives: Big portions, tasty, hot. Negatives: Slow service and inconsistent food preparation,

Hi there! My husband and I grew up near the Rosebud Inn and have frequented the establishment many times. The owners are just plain good people and are dedicated to making their clientele feel special, going as far as sending out a complimentary gift certificate on the month of their birthday. The food is excellent and, we hear, their steaks are the best around. I, personally, cannot vouch for that as I do not eat meat, but I have been told this is the case. They have specials throughout the week. It is an intimate setting and they also have a bar area that is very tasteful. Please note that not everything on the menu is Italian: they have excellent breaded/broiled haddock, crab cakes, pizza, and many other non-Italian foods. They also serve you freshly baked rolls with all dinners. If you are looking for a good hometown meal, this is your place!

Stopped at Sal's a few Fridays ago, my son was in from College so we went for lunch. When we arrived the place was packed, but the customer services was amazing. We ordered our stromboli's and left to run a few errands. Came back and accidentally my stromboli had onions in it. Sal immediately apologized and quickly made me a new one. At the same time the nice woman who works with him came out into the dining room and gave me & my son candy. When my new stromboli was done, he again apologized. He also wrapped up the one with onions in it for my son to take back to school. My son said & this is why he is so popular, the food is just as good as the service. Hands down, best stromboli in town! Thanks guys, for the great lunch!!!! And we have never had bad food or service from them ever :)

Family Italian Restaurant Serving Johnstown for over 30 years! Now featuring Neapolitan Wood Fired Pizza and Italian Gelato!
I have eaten at Anthony's probably four times. Most recently on April 12, 2018. The food never disappoints. On this most recent visit, I have chicken parm with rigatoni and a salad. I am NOT a salad person. But this one, I devoured. The chicken parm was outstanding. And the service was as good as the food.I would definitely recommend Anthony's.

It's an easy walk or ride..The only restaurant on Somerset St. Great Itialian without clay faced waitresses who could care less either way; or paying thru the nose for someone elses visions of Italy...I like to call it "just feed me, I'll do the rest"...I love the place...

Not the best pizza I have ever had by a long shot, but very good! Also the breadsticks were great (the sauce that comes with them is fantastic), the garlic bread was really good, everything was very cheap, the atmosphere is "homey" like a local neighborhood pizza shop should be and the staff seem to work well together. This was a very solid four, glad we went here! They also have pizza by the slice and things like that so if I'm ever up that way for a civil service test or anything I would definitely stop back for a quick lunch here.

While visiting Johnstown my wife and I were on a mission to find a good place to have lunch. We Google places to eat and this place showed up. We were in Johnstown many years ago and this restaurant was not here. We decided to give it a try. We sat at the window with a great view overlooking the town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We will be stopping by again before heading home.
