Siamo entrati n questa "pizzicheria" sotto consiglio di amici...e ne siamo rimasti molto contenti. Buonissime le pizzette al taglio, ottimi i culurgiones di patate e sa coccoi prena... Peccato che non aveva altro da assaggiare perchè meritava davvero.

Calling at Ulassai to visit the cave and have a walk in the amazing setting. Needed lunch so called in here.Loved it, the village was really quiet but here there was a great atmosphere with enthusiastic staff.We shared the bruschetta and the local cold ham / sausage dishes.They were exceptional. Also big portions, we were anxious that maybe they had given us double portions (with a double bill), but not so. They were really generous.The menu looked super too, we were only after a quick lunch. We did notice the 1kg T bone steak â¬35. Crikey!!We gather it is a new venture and really wish them every success.

Sono stato in questo locale per il pranzo di Natale. Locale poco affollato. Iniziamo con un cocktail di benvenuto. Dopodiché ci servono un tagliere di salumi con formaggio e del casu agedu. Come primo dei culurgionis arrosto e dei buonissimi ravioli con ragù di pecora da accompagnare con formaggio grattugiato e del pecorino. Dopo arrivano dei culurgionis al sugo di pomodoro molto buoni e ripieni. Poi arriva il turno della carne. Treccia,vitellone e maialetto arrosto con contorno di patate arrosto. Dopo della frutta secca e delle mele e arance vaniglia. Dopo un caffè e degli amari. Ovviamente il tutto accompagnato da bis di ogni portata. Come sempre location molto suggestiva e selvaggia e portate sempre buone e davvero generose. Complimenti!!!!

Arrived here at 3pm and waited for the tour to start at 4pm. Starved since the town of Ulassai was siesta-ing. Luckily they served sandwiches - ham and chesse / prucciutio / salami. Not much in it but the staff are friendly and willing to help. Buy your ticket to the Grotto (Cave) entry here. 10euros per person. If you don't have a jackt and enjoying the Sardinian weather in a flimsy top then the guy will lend you a jacket providing they haven't all gone.

Il a fallu un petit moment pour qu'on m'installe à une table, mais celle-ci s'est vite révélée exposée aux courants d'air générés par les entrées et les sorties des clients. J'ai donc demandé à changer de place, ce qui n'a pas posé de problème. Les temps d'attente m'ont semblé un peu longs en regard de la clientèle clairsemée. J'ai opté pour un "pane frattau" suivi d'une grillade mixte de poissons (qui consiste en une petite dorade, des poulpes et des gambas), avec des légumes grillés en accompagnement. Rien de mauvais, mais rien d'exceptionnel non plus. La déco est un peu datée, le service impersonnel, l'ambiance un peu fraîche, tout cela n'aide pas à passer un bon moment à table, surtout seul. Avec l'eau, le vin blanc de la maison et le café, j'en ai eu pour 28 â¬, une note légèrement plus élevée que la moyenne, mais cela reste encore honnête. Par contre, je me demande d'où vient l'horrible pain de type industriel mis à table. J'ai du mal à comprendre, dans une région où l'on fait généralement du si bon pain.

Really great pizza, which is lucky because it's the only restaurant in this weird ghost town. Ate here three nights in a row. Grazie mille della recensione e di averci scelto. Ulassai è un piccolo paese, tipico della Sardegna! :) Speriamo in ogni caso di rivederla presto!

We'd be staying on the coast so were searching a for typical Sardinian restaurant to get away from pizza and pasta. We were not disappointed with Da Concetta. The restaurant is very quite and it seems that the father rules the kitchen and the mother and son provide the service (although this was our impression!) The lady is very polite and warm-hearted and gave us what we think was local pecorino cheese - but soft and incredible with the flat bread. We had wild boar stew, lamb and steak as well as pasta dishes. The children loved the food as did my wife and I. We wine was good, but I wish I'd tried something a bit more special as we were in Jerzu. The sebadas was amazing - try one between 2. We ate here twice as we enjoyed the food so much the first time.
