we have been going here forever, and the food stills as good as ever!... the choice is great and the quality ALWAYS very good, is a typical italian menu, pizzas, pastas, salads and great bread , good choice of wine and aperitifs as well as after dinner drinks and the guys that serve there have been there as well forever so the service is good and constant.

This has quickly become our new favorite spot! Having been to the restaurant "La Vita e Bella", of the same owners, in Zihuatanejo several times, we didn't hesitate, and they didn't disappoint! As "real' pizza lovers - we are very impressed by their delicious pizzas, and happy that they have some amazing pasta dishes as well. Just simply WONDERFUL! And very good wine as well; not the staple Chilean wine served in most places.BONUS:We LOVE that we can watch the pizza man (straight from Napoli!) work his magic!

Liked the reviews so headed to the Ixtapa marina to experience (despite the map showing the restaurant inland in ZIH - fix that!)It was a wonderful Italian experience on a platform over the water. Entrees 200 to 400 pesos - US$65 for two but we didnât drink much. Had the sea bass, fresh pasta, salad, pinot grigio, flan, coffee ⦠it was excellent and not crowded. I think they have relied on the sport fishing crowd and it is down this year. It was a respite from colorful Mexico - international yacht marinas have a feel all of their own. This was delicious food at a very reasonable price.If they could dim the lighting it would be romantic but otherwise perfect.

Had dinner here on our trip. Service was first rate and professional. The ambiance was good, quiet, elegant. Wine was nice. The Caesar salad was done well, very tasty. But the linguine in clam sauce didnât have much flavour or clams. Lasagne was just ok. This entire trip it was difficult to find a restaurant with service, food and ambiance at an equal level.

La Lonja is a new little spot on Adelita in Zihau. If you are looking for a change from the many Mexican restaurants check this one out. La Lonja is a Steak Station specializing in meats. Mostly beef but also pork chop and lamb. We had steaks... Very tender, juicy and flavourful. The service was amazing... I was looking for a good glass of white wine so they sent someone out to get a bottle of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc for me... Make sure to order the chocolate cake... Homemade fresh that day. And since I love strawberries they added some on request. The owners have put a lot of work into creating a lovely atmosphere and a refreshing change. I wish them luck and hope to see them next time we are back in Zihau.

My son-in-law stopped by this restaurant yesterday to ask if they could put together a little birthday party for our granddaughter's 8th birthday. He asked for some balloons and a cake. Wow! We arrived tonight to all of the staff standing at the top of the staircase welcoming Zoey in to a beautifully decorated pleasantly private area of our own. Pink balloons, party hats and favors, gift bags of candy a big dolphin balloon and an adorable dolphin decorated cake. They also had a pinata all tied up on a rope and ready to go! We all ordered off the menu, Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, fajitas, fish fillets, giant hamburgers and delicious fries...all served hot and fresh! They lowered the lights and brought in her super cute cake with fun candles and we all( including the staff) sang happy birthday to fun music. So amazing, they went above and beyond to make Zoey's party special and it was! Definitely recommend for any kind of get together or just a lovely meal at a great place with nice views, breezes, terrific staff. Thank you so much Kraken Chef Crew~we will be back!

Heard the place was new this year so checked it out. Food was very good. Mainly Italian food choices and they were good. Good size portions. They had a piano player there the night we were there and he was very good. Not loud, just right.

We ate twice on our 2 week vacation recently. It is honestly such good pizza. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort but eat off resort for a variety and to try different things but this pizza was honestly so good!The first night we ate there my hubby and I shared a greek salad and the mushroom, ham and pepperoni pizza. We loved that someone actually divides the salads and delivers on 2 plates. Nice touch. Service is great here and although it can get very busy we never felt neglected. The second time we visited there was 4 of us and it was smoking busy. There was some cranky patrons in there that night. One group actually left without their food because they thought it was taking too long and they were getting miserable with the waiter. He had great patience when others might have lost their temper :) Between the 4 of us we had 2 pizzas and 2 salads. Highly recommend the ceasar salad too! It really doesn't look like much but man is it good! We will be back next time we visit Ixtapa!

This restaurant has excellent food and service. It has huge screen tv's for any game that you want to watch or just tv while you dine. It's also a great place to just have a drink with friends after the beach. My only complaint would be the manager there,

We went here, mainly because we knew it was owned by a Canadian and they showed hockey. We wondered if we could watch Calgary beat San Jose and wrap up first place.We were really pleased with the service and the pizza was just great: baked in a proper stone oven. Service was also wonderful.
