Where Good Food Good Wine Good Friends Come Together
We stopped and had dinner here with friends before heading over to the Raue center. The service was extremely good, and our server was very patient with my wife who is gluten-free and extremely cautious about what she is eating. My overall opinion on the food was it that it was very good. I had the egg plant Parmesan, and tasted the chicken Parmesan. For my money, I would go with the chicken Parmesan on my next visit. Meatballs ordered as a side dish weâre well portioned and very tasty. We thought the marinara sauce, was a little bit overpowering on the garlic side. The side salads, were very good, and a few glasses of Chianti, topped the night. Reservations definitely required on a Friday night. Parking nearby at the metra station.

We had the decadent parmesan truffle fries -- definitely enough for two and, depending on what else you are ordering, enough for four. We also had the deep-dish spin art pizza (spinach, artichokes, diced red peppers, cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, and fresh tomato sauce), which was outstanding -- and serves 4 - 5. There are booths and tables, plus a fireplace. There is a case near with entrance with to-go pizzas to bake at home, and I was told that they could freeze your preferred pizza for home baking if you give them enough lead time.Georgio's is located in downtown Crystal Lake, across from the train station. There is ample street and lot parking.

The best salmon I have ever had. The cheese breadsticks with garlic butter are pretty awesome as well. Really nice relaxed atmosphere.
We had Alfredo's Pizza before, but we had a taste for some type of Italian pasta. They have several variations of pizza from thin crust, to double dough, to pan, to Chi-town style deep dish and finally stuffed pizza. They have a really good selection of sandwiches, pastas and dinners, as well. The dining ambiance is really nice,, so we did go with our original thoughts and ordered lasagna and the fettuccini alfredo with two meatballs. Everything tasted very good. The service was really efficient and attentive. The staff was friendly from the time that we walked in.
We have used Taylor Street for many different meals/events. By far their daily pizza slices for lunch are the best! The owner is super friendly and almost always there to serve me my lunch time slice! The slices are double dough which is my fav pizza from there. We also order pizzas for our family on weekends there and they are also good. My husband and I also like their lasagna dinner. We have used their catering for more than one occasion. The first time was fabulous the 2nd time was just fair. My suggestion is just be very clear on how you want your catering menu cooked and not over done like they sometimes do with their garlic bread.I would recommend this pizza place! Enjoy!Hope this helps someone!

Excellent food. The risotto is especially good and changes daily. Romantic atmosphere with excellent service from staff. And, one of a kind martinis. I don't like their holiday brunches though. They are underwhelming compared to the regular menu.

Although the service is always impeccable at this Biaggiâs and the bread is always good enough to ask for refills, the food for this Italian restaurant is just bland, safe, chain food. We had the butternut squash soup, flatbread which is really pizza, and the three cheese ravioli. It was okay and reasonably priced but if you want authentic Italian food, go elsewhere. There are lots of other entrees available fromLasagna to cod to burgers, so certainly something for everyone. Ample parking, easy to get to location in Algonquin Commons, full service bar, and private rooms available.

Considered the oldest family name in Chicago pizza, Lou Malnati's is as rich in history as its deep dish pizza is in flavor. We use only the freshest and finest ingredients to craft each pizza by hand. Come try our legendary deep dish pizza with our famou
Excellent standard for Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. Flavorful crust (get the Buttercrust), generous meat toppings and rich tomatoes. I heard about this place from two separate chicago locals visiting me on business in Kansas. Thinking that I could only find them in downtown Chicago, I was happy to have caught one of their restaurants in northern Illinois while on a long drive. Extremely filling pizza with flavorful meat toppings. I ordered meatballs on the side to survey their recipe and I'm happy to report that they checked out very well. I would hold back a bit on their in-house cocktails. They certainly weren't bad but weren't as recommendable as their pizza which I would focus more on, and leave as much possible "space" for whenever I would visit again. They certainly live up to the hype.
We stopped for dinner at Rosati's Pizza which is just south of Algonquin Rd. on Il. Rt. 47. We were seated immediately. Our server was efficient, but not too attentive. We ordered the appetizer of Rosati's dough nuggets while we tried to decide on the pizza, but they seemed to take forever. We ordered a 14 inch Chicago-style deep dish with sausage and mushrooms. The pizza was good, but it didn't seem to be quite up to a couple of other restaurants deep dish pizzas that we have had.

Winner of Best Pizza in Algonquin and Lake in the Hills! Sal's Pizza Company has been able to serve its customers for over 40 years. They have decided to bring their amazing menu plus restaurant and bar to Huntley. Whether it's fine quality pizza, Italian
Salâs is a small restaurant in Huntley on the town square but is a delightful, casual place. We stopped for a weekday dinner-small pizza (which really wasnât) four piece fried chicken (delicious and crispy) and 1/2 pound of shrimp (very good). And garlic bread comes with the dinners. There is also a small bar and two low volume TVs in the dining area. Very friendly and efficient waitress. On street parkingâweâll be back!
