Here with local friends, our group numbered six. The meal was leisurely paced definitely not rushed. Very welcoming environment if not a bit crowded and noisy. Extensive menus with enough options for us vegetarians. I was not to keen on my entree because the salmon was fishy but everything else was nice. The service was better than the food with highly polished professional waiters. Prices were moderate but there were a a few costly menu items that nobody at our table ordered. Next time I would avoid the fish but otherwise it's a keeper.

We had a coupon. We have heard good and poor reviews and decided to take our coupon and take our chances. Nice meal, good pasta, good pizza. Wine was surprisingly good for the relatively inexpensive price. We had a second coupon and went back. Not quite cheap eats, but better than average in the price range.

When we looked up this restaurant, two days ago, we were looking for a Mexican menu. We pulled up to the restaurant, looked at the menu, and left. Today, we wanted Italian, and stopped by. By far, this was the best food and service you could ask for. All 3 of us had a spectacular plate. I even asked for additions to my meal, and it was delivered. Please check into how you are listed in Trip Advisor. This is a keeper, and now listed as a favorite in our Garmin.

You have to be going to this hotel to find it as it isn't likely to be stumbled upon unless you're staying at the Ibis. It's located in a sort of industrial park area. The desk agent at our Marriott recommended it as one of her favorite Italian restaurants and the food was quite delicious. The wine was decent too. I had chicken with vegetables. Those at our table who ate pasta said it was first-rate (I'm allergic to wheat so I skipped it.) I'm glad we walked the 1.7 km from our hotel to this restaurant to celebrate a friend's mom's brithday. It was well worth the walk. The service was prompt and friendly but not intrusive. And they permitted us to take a rose from the table centerpiece for the birthday woman. Very nice.

The Ristorante-Pizzeria La Vigna is an excellent restaurant providing a variety of Italian meals; offerings including brick-oven pizza, home made paste, salads, fish, and meat dishes. The owner manager is from Catania, Sicily, and the menu is designed around dishes from that region of Italy. The brick-oven thin crust pizza is fantastic; they also bake bread in the brick-oven as well as other dishes. The Ristorante-Pizzeria La Vigna is open 7 days a week. But, you need to get there before 7:00 PM or wait in line. The Ristorante is located just 100 yards from the medi-evil market square. The old Tudor beam houses add a lot of charm to the area. Hochheim Am Main also has bus and rail links to Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and Heidelburg, which are less than a hour away. Hochheim is also a large wine producing city with numerous wine cellars and a host of other restaurants.

we love this little italian place in the middle of hochheim. we love the italian kitchen and go a lot to italian restaurants in hochheim and the cities close by. this one is just perfect. the service is great, the food is great. the "Kalbsschnitzel mit Gorgonzola" are wonderful, molto bene, also the carpaccio and other dishes. ask for specials ( sometimes fish specials or menu specials, wine specials and others!) this place is sharing the number 1 places for italian food with marco & momo in wiesbaden! great place, go there.

Lived on the nearby American base for several years and have visited family there over the last 10 or so years. never visited this place. Our daughter recommended as the best restaurant in Hochheim. It probably is. Dinner here with family and it was lots of fun. Meals were excellent. Kids ate pasta and pizza and had a great time with the staff. so we will return on our next visit to Hochheim
