We noticed that this restaurant space was occupied by a new owner. It looks like Comella's has several locations on the North Shore of Boston, but this is the first one on the South Shore. The atmosphere is very casual. On one side there is a "sub-shop" type take out area with a few seats. On the other side, there is a full bar with some high-top tables. The bartender doubled as our waitress. She was efficient and friendly, assisting us with our selections, since this was our first visit. We loved everything. We tried a small cheese pizza and it was delicious. Nice sweet sauce, thin crispy crust. The meatballs were outstanding as was the homemade pasta and sauce. The wedge salad was fresh and loaded with cheese and bacon . A side of pesto sauce was a standout as well. The convenient location on Route 3A is a plus for grabbing pizzas or meeting for drinks. Prices were pretty great as well. Great restaurant addition to the area.

Been trying this hit or miss local pizza place for 20 years now. It's average at best when the order is made correctly. How hard is it to not mess up pizza? This joint manages to do that on a consistent basis. It's only pizza yet they thrive on making mistakes. I'm looking elsewhere.

Been going here for literally years. Most popular for their pizza. Antipasta salad is great too. Located on a side street on a corner, they have made extra parking. Nothing fancy, just good old fashioned, delicious constantly food.

food was delicious. The waitress was very friendly. The menu is extensive. My husband loved the pork chops with vineger peppers.,I had a special that had a sausage,,stuffed shell, meatball, and eggplant.. I would order it again. There is enough food for 2 meals so take home the leftovers.

It's located inside the South Shore Country Club
Great food, great venue. food was great. Beer batter fish & chips was very fresh and the coating was light and crispy. Loved it. Another friend loved the salmon while a third had chicken carbonara. Only complaint was that the chicken was cut up light and dark meat. Not a good choice. The outdoor seating was great.

We were looking for a quiet Italian dinner and we found it. We also found about 2 days worth of leftovers to take with us. The portions were both delicious and and HUGE!! Great value. All entrees come with an excellent dinner salad and warm bread. Highly recommend. Donât go if you are in a rush.

The restaurant is in a great location at Hingham Shipyard. The pros were that the food was pretty good, good enough that I'd probably go again and order the pizza and reasonably price. But the cons were that the service wasn't very good, it's very loud inside and the bathrooms were disgusting.

Restaurant seemed very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered salads with gilled chicken. They did take a few minutes which is always surprising for salads but seems chicken was cooked to order and it was piping hot when I opened the salad. Almost too much chicken for one person. Everyone was ordering pizza and they all looked delicious. Planning to go back soon

Cafe Tosca is off the beaten path of Hingham Center but a pleasing dining experience. My family prefers the outdoor seating - weather permitting. Service is friendly and quick and eager to please.Little bit of street noise when dining outside but not too overpowering.

We dine with friends this past weekend and the event started off poorly. We arrived 10 min before our reservation and was seated at a table that was right in the traffic flow of the waitstaff. We had to asked to be moved even with other open tables around. The meals were good and the staff was attentive, however, the prices very very high. I had the beef medallions which were rather tough and chewy. The pasta dishes, while good where expensive. Not in any rush to return anytime soon.
