Ended up in Hamm after a terrible day of train cock ups, we were hungry and time limited and this little spot was just in front of the train station. No language issues at all and we were promised a turbo pizza in time to get our next train. Grabbed a couple of very reasonably priced cold beers and left on time with our pizza. The pizza was very cheap - circa 6 euros but it was absolutely fantastic, freshly made with good ingredients and the garlic and chilli sauces were amazing - so good we got a train back to here a few months later just for another pizza which again was excellent. Fairly basic little spot but friendly with good food, highly recommended.

Wir waren mit dem Gutscheinbuch dort . Sehr nette Bedienung . Die kostenlose Vorspeise ist recht üppig . Die Pizzen sind gut allerdings nicht überragend .

Das Essen war hervorragend. Sehr gut im Geschmack. Die Vorspeise ( kostenlos) war vorzüglich und als Absacker gab es noch ein Marsala. Der Abend war rundum gelungen.

Pleasant room, lots of space around the tables. Food reasonable. Prawn salad was rather spoiled by the prawns still being warm from the rapid thawing they must have experienced. Salad itself was acceptable. What is NOT acceptable is a refusal to provide tap water to drink. We had already purchased aperitifs. Would not visit again but perhaps other people are happy to be exploited. I think it is one greedy step too far.

Es dauerte lange, bis die telefonische Bestellung entgegen genommen wurde. Dann klappte es aber "wie am Schnürchen". Bestellungsannahme - pünktliche Lieferung - schmackhafte Pizza und Salate. Preis - Leistungs - Verhältnis ok! Gerne wieder!

The Torino is in the heart of Hamm close to Marktplatz. It has both inside and outside seating but on a cool March night I chose indoors. Service was quick and the staff were pleasant. With my drink a small free starter of mushroom salad was served. I ordered steak and it was good, with perhaps a little too much of the mushroom (funghi) sauce, but so tasty even though it was more mushrooms! The prices were reasonable and I wish that I had more time to try a dessert which looked so good - on my next visit perhaps!
