I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is excellent as is the staff. An intimate and homey atmosphere, you will not be disappointed. My one suggestion to the manager would be cloth napkins, please!! All in all, a wonderful Valentineâs Day dinner!

Excellent thin crust pizza. Service was great, friendly staff made a late lunch extremely enjoyable. Parking was a bit of an issue but because of 3pm lunch/dinner time managed to get a spot. Will be back there on my next visit to Halifax!

Piatto is a gathering place centred around a passion for fine food, fabulous wines, friends and family. Check out the little gems we've come acrossâdiverse wines from across the globe, authentic Neapolitan wood-fired pizza, coffee and fabulous dessertsâal
My family and I stopped here recently after taking in the Buskers. They offer a gluten-free crust, which is absolutely delicious! It was by far the best gluten-free crust Iâve had around here! Everyone in our group enjoyed their pizzas! The kitchen was a little backed up the night we were there, but our server, Natalie was absolutely wonderful and kept us informed! We will definitely return!

Cozy little Italian Bistro!
Went recently with 9 women for lunch. We all enjoyed our meals. Three of us had the three different feature salads and they were all lovely, flavourful and very different ingredients that worked well together. It was a very busy lunch hour and quite noisy but it settled once the crowd thinned out a bit. Thanks for dining with us!

Awful attention to detail. Little things that "fine-dining" should be doing that they just ignore. For these prices, I expected more. Other restaurants in the area provide better experiences: taking your coat, wiping the table between courses.. We had 3 servers provide us service during one visit. If you're going to call yourself fine dining, then be fine dining.

Much of what I had to say when I last reviewed this restaurant as excellent in 2016 still applies and is even better with new decor. The more open and cozy atmosphere now provides a better ambiance. the menu is unchanged for the most part. Food is delicious as always with excellent service - that is why Restaurante El Mano had become our favorite lunch location several times a month despite Bishops Landing parking being a constant challenge.A couple of months ago the wine list changed. The current list remains decent and extensive, however, several excellent yet affordable choices have been eliminated and replaced with more costly choices. The least expensive per bottle Italian red wine Valpolicella is now @58.00 and the least expensive Chianti is $52.00 - a 20%+ increase.

This is a fine dining establishment. Taking the advice of the hotel desk clerk, I arrived in blue jeans and sneakers and was under dressed. The food was very good, with the possible exception of one bite of halibut which may have been a bit off. The server was outstanding. My daughter-in-law asked him to select a wine pairing and she announced his choice was perfect, especially for the radicchio salad that came before her fish course. My son's lobster ravioli was outstanding. We enjoyed ourselves quite a bit.

Inspired by the rustic dishes from Maurizio's childhood in Friuli, our menu is authentic & homemade, each dish made to order, by hand with a passion for freshness and quality. Whether you're looking for a full course dinner, a quick lunch or a late night
The food was fantastic, everything was perfect. Everyone had something different from appetizers and mains. So we all had a bit of each others. There was not a plate set on that table that your comments was not "Oh my Heavens" the kitchen was just rocking it. Which topped the meal was our service, she was absolutely lovely and added so much to our meal. She had only been working for three months at La Frasca but boy did she know her menu and her suggestions where bank on. ( Can't remember her name) 10/11/2019

Tomavinoâs is on the walkway by the Halifax Seaport Farmerâs Market. The style of restaurant is a sit down, quick service style in nature â you pay for your meal and it is delivered to your table. That said, the ambience was quite nice and the food was quite filling. I had the lobster roll with Caesar Salad and it was a very solid meal indeed, even the salad was quite nice. My wife had the lasagna and enjoyed it as well. Both were portioned fairly well for the $20 price tag at time of writing. Very good value for what you pay and great flavors. Please indicate if you found this review to be helpful as it will help me focus my future efforts. Enjoy your trip!
