it is a pity because the ambience is very warm and the service is good but the quality of food is not very high.

We were a group of 16 adults and children. We were given a separate space that was well decorated and very comfortable. Without a doubt this was our best meal and service of our entire week long vacation in Gressoney. The mixed tagliere was excellent as were the firsts and seconds. The quality is a step above of most other locations we visited. Wine list was superb. Very kid friendly too. Cannot recommend enough. If we return to the area we will definitely be back! thank you!

We came for lunch by chance, and had a table in the cosy room to the right of the entrance. All carved wood walls and ceiling, beautiful tiled floors, orchids. A typical welcoming atmosphere. We had a good meal, not pricey, excellent service, well presented. Well recommended. There is a great selection of beers.

I have taken several groups to eat at this refuge as part of a hike from Gressoney La Trinite to Gressoney Saint Jean. Danila and Roberto are really friendly and the food is wonderful. Local meats and cheeses served with delicious chutneys from a small providore in the valley. The home-made gnochetti is also excellent, a real local speciality. Make sure you leave room for pudding too!

Since 1942, La Stella Restaurant welcomes those arriving in the Gressoney?S Valley. Completely renovated, with Valdostan menu to innovative proposals, without losing sight of the culinary tradition .
We've been in La Stella for lunch and dinner during the skiing holidays. In both cases - it was a very positive experience. For lunch there was a "fixed menu", which however could be adjusted and in fact had several options. The antipasto of local cheese and salumi was simply charming. The polenta with sausages in tomato sauce - in really abundant and satisfying portion. After the dinner, we had a long discussion what was better: the beef tagliata with local cheese or brasilian-style picanhia with a stripe of fat and grains of salt on the meat. Very nice general atmosphere of the place in addition. Value for money very good. Many of the menu items had a real local touch of Val d'Aosta cousine and style. Recommended :)

Ristorante tipico al primo piano, pub al piano terra con possibilità di musica dal vivo in alcune serate.
A bit closer to a fine dining experience than many spots in Gressoney. Excellent service and good wine selection with very knowledgeable staff. The menu is fairly typical of the area but dishes are prepared and served with a little more refinement although the usual suspects remain, inlcluding plenty of dshes based on laocal cheese and cured meats, polenta, venison and so on. We enjoying meeting the chef who gave us a few tips!

On the look out for a good beer and a nice dinner, we stumbled across Bierfall by chance. Great vibe created by the team of young but incredibly efficient and attentive guys running the place. We shared the cured meat & cheese platter: excellent. After which we had a bavarian dish and polenta, sausage & mushroom dish, both of which were delicious. Great service, including beer suggestions for the dishes weâd chosen. Very professional (even when faced with our neighbouring diners who were pretty fussy). All in all a great evening. The bill came to â¬68 (shared starter, 2 second courses, 2 desserts, 3 great beers and a grappa). Absolutely worth every penny!

Mont Néry is a place of memories and flavors: you can find a cozy and warm Room with the stone oven (Gade), the small Room in stone and larch (Wongade), the vaulted Room for the merry companies (Chaer) and we organize theme evenings for tasting wines with
Absolutely lovely! good healthy valdostana food!! We had the fix menu and it was delicious! we ate so much that we didn't finish our dessert! All with a really good local wine. Definitely we will be back.

As a real French "Brasserie" we are something in between a restaurant and a bar. A good selection of local and original dishes, not too long but always good, lots of beers and intersting wines, mostly from Aosta Valley. Small place (it's always a good ide
Seated in the rear that is decorated like a cave, the menu is explained in great detail to ensure the correct choice by the very kind waitress; I ordered the wild boar with polenta which was lovely, combined with a recommended Shiraz. For desert a cheesecake with a white grape desert wine. When we departed the owner greeted and remembered our visit from the previous year; this made us feel very welcome indeed. We will be back

The dining room is spacious and bright with large windows directly overlooking the lake. The pine panelling, the antique wooden beam ceiling and the finest decoration make the atmosphere warm and cosy. The restaurant is open to external guests and is famous
This wooden alpine atmosphere restaurant offers great meals at a reasonable price. The view is great overlooking a lake. Having taken for primi the taglioni with ragu di capriolo and for secondi the Carbonade, I can assure you this was worth to drive up there from St Vincent where we stayed (although this may be a scary drive night time for those not used to mountainous roads).
