The only pizza operations in the region with our own farm! We grow lots of food for our restaurants at our own River Creek Farm here in East Tennessee. We also source from about 30 other local producers throughout the year. We take food seriously, and you
Went there based on the high TA rating and were not disappointed. Our server, Kyla, was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations. The loaded fettucini alfredo was a standout and the wings and cheese bread appetizers were superior. Surprsisingly, the pizza was my least favorite item ordered. While the crust was delicious, the sauce was a bit strong and the sausage too spicy for my taste. The pie would have also benefitted from more cheese (we expected it to be similar to the cheese bread), but my husband loved it. Can't wait to go back (even though it is 50+ miles from home)!
I can pretty much count on my pizza at Pizza Hut to taste the same as any other. Other than mushrooms that were dried up, our pizza was as expected. What wasn't expected was the condition of the place. Overall, it was old, felt dirty and musty. The worst sign of needing a remodel was the ladies restroom. The door wouldn't close as it dragged on the floor. The lighting was horrible and it was dirty. Not recent clutter but decades of accumulation. This message is for the "owner." The condition of this Pizza Hut location reflects on you. The employees can only do so much with what they have and yes, they could clean better. But, this location is long overdue for a gut job/remodel. We won't be back until we hear the place is newly remodeled. I worked at a Pizza Hut years ago in another state. I would be ashamed to say I worked at this location. No, I just wouldn't work at this location. Period.I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Please remodel! Your customers and employees deserve it!

We went in about 9 pm on a Saturday evening and were able to get a high top table in the bar area right away. We were promptly waited on for drinks and the waitress took our order right away. Two of us ordered Mezzaluna Pasta and one got a seafood medley meal.... all were good and typical of this chain. Prompt service and what we expected for our meals. Good as usual.

The name of the place attracted us to this restaurant while visiting. The outside looks a little old and outdated, but the inside is very nice. The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing!!! The bread was delicious. We definitely didn't go away hungry!

This was our second visit to The Black Olive. The first time was great, this time not so much. Food was just okay- my husbandâs dish was bland (Sicilian Chicken) and my dish (Chicken Gorgonzola) was also okay, the chicken pieces were like little slabs of rubber. Service was just so-so. Weâll be back, as our first visit there was great. Possibly this was just an off night.

We just moved to Johnson City and this place is right down the street from us. We decided to give it a try. Great pizza! Large slices. Good price. Pretty small inside eating area but thereâs also outside seating which is good because the weather here is pretty good. Very friendly staff. Weâll definitely keep coming back for more!!

We have eaten many a meal at the Blountville Gios and also gotten take out from Piney flats a couple of times. The food has always been excellent and service good.We thought for sure going to this location we would experience the same. Wrong wrong wrongFor starters the server was new and having issues. The women were running circles around him and he was more inclined to get a soda. He left our salads at our table and no silverware. We waited and waited and finally asked for silverware only to find out there was none clean. More waiting...When the silverware and remainder of our food came it was sub par. It was saltier than the other locations and we both bloated up afterwards. The flavor was ok. I love love love pizza and ended up throwing two pieces away. Will not make the mistake of going to this location again.

Had dinner here Saturday night. Had always enjoyed eating here, though we had not been lately. We ordered a medium pizza with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions. It was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Price reasonable for quality. They have many menu items that we have enjoyed in the past.

I was in town for a solo business trip and decided to stop here to get a spinach calzone to go. They took my order kindly and had it ready as promised and at the time promised. Calzone was super tasty with a very nice marinara sauce to accompany it. I would eat here again.

This is arguably the best pizza in Johnson City. They also have delicious gyros and calzones. It's a tiny place, so don't let the exterior fool you, as it is located in a small shopping strip. Definitely worth a visit!
