A very nice restaurant in a small town serving top quality food and wines but somewhat pricey. Service is excellent and the owner comes to greet each customer. We had dinner for 4 with two appetizers, one Minnestrone soup and two salads. It was rounded out with 3 small glasses of Montepulciano wine, 2 beers and 2 Mineral waters. The bill for 4 was Euro 110.00 ($ 146.30) including tip. Stay away from the Mineral Water which is more expensive than beer and wine. All in all a truly outstanding meal in a very nice setting.

I was traveling with my family and we went to Leo's Das Esszimmer for dinner. Everything that we ate was amazing and the service was great! It's a small and a friendly restaurant and I highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back.Thank you

Eiscafé allegria una gelateria e caffetteria italiana in Tegernsee
If you are in the mood for a delicious dessert or specialty coffee, look no further. We had excellent ice cream deserts there paired with cappuccinos. The desserts are huge, so you may want to consider sharing. Our server was super friendly and quick. We enjoyed our sweets very much.
We stumbled across this excellent restaurant while on our way to Durnbach War Cemetery. The smells in the restaurant were soooo good; the staff were friendly and helpful and the menu was very good. The restaurant has a small deli and sells various (mainly Italian) food and wine. Our food was very tasty and I would love to return to this restaurant.

Magnifico Italia at lake Tegernsee Look forward to an encouter brimming with lightness and zest for living. But above all to the passion for sophistically interoperated, traditional cuisine from Northern Italy. Discover the aroma of homebaked focaccias wi

Ordered the seafood pizza and it took quite some time for the pizza to arrive. The minestrone soup came first and its actually quite good. Plus its winter so the heat from the soup is just nice.I sat at the corner where the heater was on, it was disguised so i didn't notice it at first, only when I felt my back was too hot only I realize the heater. Then came the pizza, the base was good but the topping are runny. There's generous topping of squids, prawns, cockles but it didn't stick together and they didn't cut the pizza so to do it when the topping is runny will not produce a good shape for eating pizza with hands.Maybe my choice of seafood pizza was poor as I should take another type of pizza such as salami based or pepperoni based.Other than pizza, you can find typical Italian dishes such as pasta and lasagna.Price is reasonable.

one of the few places open on a monday for lunch in gmund and i wasnt disappointed. i dont speak any german and they didnt speak much english, but when i asked about a menu item, the waiter kindly went in the back and brought out the fish to show me. i had fetuccini with tomatoes. parsley and shrimp and it was delicious. shrimp was cut into tiny pieces, had a light oil in it. a little pricey (â¬16), but would go back again.

During summer holidays we want to enjoy every lunch and dinner, therefore I read plenty of reviews in Tripadvisor and in most cases it helps, but not this time. I know pizzeria/trattoria Da Francesco since many years and you could not predict if they cook today tasty or poor. This month we were not lucky, salads and pasta tasted like food in the office canteen, when you eat it because no other choice left, and you convince yourself that food is OK and there are plenty places where food is even worse. No reason to come again, there are so really good places on Tegernsee!

No English menu....was the first stumbling block.None of the staff could explain the 'Italian' menu terminology in English but may be more successful in German?Another helpful German patron tried to help out, as best he could. The next was no Master, Visa or Amex credit cards accepted.Be prepared for an unwarranted struggle, to enjoy this excellent fare.Suggestions to the owners would be obvious.
