The basic pizza with the mozzarella is worth a stop. Neopolitan style means itâs not as thin or an large as a true New York style pizza slice, but hey itâs in New Jersey. Get the mozzarella sticks.

Four of us for dinner.Everything is so fresh and of such high quality. The menu is small however everything that was presented looked and tasted great. The 2 apps were enough for the four of us and these dishes were standouts. The fish entree was superb as was the lasagna. Thank you so much for your review and we hope to see you soon!!Claudia
Iachettiâs Kitchen is a 3 month old Italian restaurant in a strip mall on a Main Street. Very nice decor, phenomenal service ( especially from our waiter, Dane) who could not have been nicer, more informative or more professional. Now, the food. From the salads to the entrees and finally the desserts everything was superb. The pastas were tasty and cooked perfectly, a pok chop was probably the best I ever had and sides were excellent. The chef, whoâs name I unfortunately I did not get was very present and visited our table at least twice. He was very informative and interested in our pleasure with dinner.

Recently had dinner at La Lanterna and the meal was prepared to perfection. The Cesar salad contained the ideal amount of flavoring a la light dressing, the salad greens were ideally trimmed and crisp, and the parmesan cheese was shaved to perfection. The "Fresh Pesto Alla Genovese with Grilled Shrimp" was precisely balanced with just enough olive oil, pesto, and sprinkled with shrimp so as the sum total of ingredients created an entity of its own, with not any one ingredient shouting out.An excellent choice when you are searching for that ideal Tuscan Italian restaurant.

We celebrated my daughters birthday on a Wednesday night. We sat outside on a beautiful evening in May and waited 10 minutes at 7:30.The menu is not extensive but quality apps, salads, pizza and pastas. We started with the shrimp gamberi, salad, and grilled octopus special. The grilled octopus was excellent. For entrees, we had pizza, tagliatelle and orchiette pastas. The pastas were very tasty with nice additions like sausage and truffles. My only regret was it didnât know it was a BYOB and I was too lazy to walk a few blocks to the wine store. Next time.

We love the food and service of Francesca and have eaten here often. Recently we had Sal cater a party for us and all the guests couldn't stop talking about how excellent the food was, even the picky eater of the bunch was pleased! Great people who make sure you are happy with your order. Try to get there when Sal does the pizza wars...he lets his employees make up their own recipes and they battle it out.

We have been coming here for pizza for 40 years and it is still just as good as always. Last night my wife and I ate here with our two teenage grandsons. We had a meatball pizza, fried calamari, and an order of spaghetti with marinara sauce. Everything was quite good and the entire meal cost us $50 including tax and tip. Friendly neighborhood eatery with very good service. we came home with a couple of slices of pizza to have for lunch today. We also were able to use a $5 coupon they sent us in the mail for added savings.

I live in Ridgewood and have been searching for the best pizza around our town. I was happy to find Johnâs boy pizzeria. The pizza was delicious. The pie had a flavorful sauce, good amount of cheese and very nice crust. The crust was little firm on the bottom, but nice and soft top. Please note that they do not take credit cards, so make sure you bring cash.

Our first time having dinner at Justinâs.You will need a reservation on weekends. The service is friendly and helpful. The menu is Italian.Pasta, chicken and fish dishes. The bowls of soup are huge. The appetizers are good especially the fresh bluepoint oysters. They serve a salad with all entrées.Along with the menu they introduced some specials. I ordered the tuna over a bed of diced tomatoes which was probably the thinnest cut of tuna that I have ever seen. It was more like a plate of diced tomatoes with a piece of tuna in the middle that wasnât even spiced and had no flavor to it.Had the waiter come over and asked how was everything I might have sent it back. But because the place was so busy that didnât happen. We were there having a good time and everybody else seem to be content. This place id a BYO and everybody that came in had a bottle with them. There was no waiting room and people were just standing by the front door waiting for a table. This place has a prefix meal during the week as an early bird special. Some of the dishes that I saw other people having looked much better than the one I was having. My dish had no eye appeal and almost looked like the last piece of fish that was left. Parking for this restaurant is located a block away using the churches parking lot. There is a sign explaining it. Parking on the side streets are frowned upon.

Even with the new compact menu, Rocca is my choice for best Italian food in Glen Rock. We went recently with another couple and as always, the service was good and the food was better. All four of us enjoyed everything we ordered and each of us had plenty to eat plus plenty to bring home for another meal. The prices are moderate. There is plenty of free parking in the rear plus street parking in front on Rock Rd.
