We have gotten pizza at all of the pizzerias in Glassboro, which there are a lot. We have finally settled on this one as our usual pizza place not because it has over the top, dynamite pizza, but it's the best one from the average selection offered in Glassboro. They do deliver, which is nice, and we've never had an issue with anything we've ordered from them. Plus, when they do deliver, they're pretty prompt. You can pay with a credit card over the phone if you want, and they do have coupons on their website.

Mannino's Cucina Italiana

When I saw the white linen table cloths and linen napkins in their photos it set my expectations for a better experience than we had. We ordered appetizers, salads, and entrées. And that's the order the food should be presented. Instead, we received apps and salads simultaneously - so either one gets cold or the other gets warm. They had a $16 filet mignon egg roll which I ordered off the specials. It wasn't nearly as good as the chipped beef eggrolls I get at my local bar and was twice the price. The wrapper was soft and doughy instead of having a crisp exterior and the inside was just mush. The salad was delicious - I forget the name but it consisted of a few long romaine lettuce leaves as a base with tomatoes, crispy prosciutto some other bits and a blue cheese dressing. I would recommend that for sure. But the entrée, I had the chicken Marsala, was probably one of the worst I've ever been served. The traditional thickened brown sauce was replaced with a runny, pale tan cream base (which I've never seen at any other Italian restaurant in my life). The chicken wasn't dusted and browned at all but rather a couple of pale, chewy, salty, thin slabs. I left it uneaten, and just ate some of the pasta and the mushrooms. When presented with my largely uneaten plate at the end of the meal, the server's helper asked "Do you want it boxed" instead of "Did you enjoy your meal" or "Was there anything wrong?" In fact, no one checked in on our table at all to see if our meals came out correctly and we had to flag the single waiter or single helper down in the half full restaurant for more water several times. The bread didn't even hit the table until after the appetizers were delivered (about 20 minutes into our visit). The price point for the place is upper mid-range, but after the first course, the waiter's assistant, when clearing the first course plates, would take the silver ware off the plate and drop it on the table. Beyond making our table dirty with food bits and sauces, you should never touch a diner's utensils unless you intend to clear them. If you're trying to save on water, at least have the decency to say "Do you want to keep your knife and fork?" That would signal the diner to either find a place to put their utensils for re-use, or allow them to say "I'd prefer a fresh knife and fork." If this were some chain place like Olive Garden, you'd expect to be treated like cattle. But not so much in a place like this.On the plus side, the restaurant was clean and well lighted and the hostess and two floor staff were friendly enough, though not engaged in our actual dining experience as a whole. There were too many diners to pull off having only one waiter and a helper. We came for dinner and sadly the food, and service of same, is where they fell down.

Me and my wife stop by Gino's every now and then when we are on the run and just want to sit down for a couple slices instead of ordering a whole pizza. They have a nice sized selection to choose from if you just want to order by the slice. Fries are pretty good and served in a large portion. The service is eh. It's just so-so and what I would expect from a pizzeria, but I don't go there for the service.

With all the Italian red sauce places in South Jersey, it takes something to stand out. Ciconte's is not the top, but very near it. Sadly, we avoided this place for a long time because it was part of a chain, although a small chain. The pizza, sandwiches, and sauces are all good. Prices are reasonable. The french fries are better than at most red sauce places. Thank you very much for this outstanding review you gave us, greatly appreciated. From all of us here at Ciconte's, thank you very much for your business. We hope your travels bring you guys back soon. The Management.

Ordered 3 regular pizzas- cheese, buffalo chicken, and mushroom. The buffalo chicken pizza had an average amount of meat and buffalo sauce and was the winner of the three pizzas. One could taste the spiciness from the buffalo sauce. The mushroom pizza was definitely lacking in mushroom. I feel like it was maybe 1-2 small mushrooms chopped and scantly scattered over the pizza. Either put more chopped mushrooms on the pizza itself so that one would taste the mushrooms or slice the mushrooms then top the pizza with it. Looking at the mushroom pizza one could not tell it was mushroom because the pieces of mushroom were so small. The cheese pizza was average. Overall I would probably want to explore more pizza places in the area before I order from this establishment again.

Not a very good meal. No one in our party of 5 enjoyed their meal. The lobster bisque and house salads were very good. But the entrees were a disappointment. My chicken verde was poorly prepared. A too thin, over breaded and over cooked chicken breast was sliced into sticks. I can say the salad portion of the plate was very fresh. Two of our deserts had to be replaced because the didn’t taste right. We were seated well away from the nearly empty main dining room and spent much of the evening asking for them to put on the heat. Even the sugar packets were hard. Won’t be back.

The food here is outstanding....I mean really outstanding....fresh, cooked perfectly. I have been to some top restaurants that don't have food as freshly prepared!!! Their chicken wings are spicy and delicious!! Amazing stuffed red hot peppers and rice balls. I had the white shrimp pizza...fantastic with arugala and olive oil on top...my wife had the arugala salad with crabmeat...this was a biggg salad!!! But the best thing about it was the way it was mixed together..not just dumped in a bowl. My sons had the pepperoni stromboli...couldn't finish them...my son's girlfriend had the panini with prosciutto and mozzarella..again a giant sandwich...I highly recommend this restaurant. Food is fresh, fresh fresh. The wait staff is amazingly attentive. One of the best places I have eaten in a long time!!!!

First time here. Like Pitman nice small town. Today is a cold icy day so many businesses have delayed opening. My client the Borough owns at 10, I’m here at 9:10 so “penguins walked” here for breakfast. Reviews are promising.Place is clean and bright and quiet on a sunny morning. They have prompt friendly service. Fried eggs were good and the pork roll was great. Comes with a hash brown which was nice and crisp as I prefer.Nice views of Main-street. Overall a nice local place with good food.

I took my mom for lunch as she wanted a place to eat where they had wine and she is in assisted living We just got appetizers : the eggplant balls which were plentiful & delicious $8.00 and their version of bang bang shrimp were very good also but you only get 3 for $12.00! Waitress was nice & service was good. Place is very nice & clean inside. We were the only patrons besides a family of 6. We also had coffee & dessert. Mom raved about Limoncello cake. My tiramasu was a little too strong on the brandy. Not cheap but will go back to try dinner.
