Seven of us went to Insolito after visiting the Archeology museum. It was a bit of a walk but well worth it! The staff accommodated is immediately and gave us great suggestions as well as custom pizzas on request. The appetizers were all great- arancini, fried zucchini flower and other recommendations from the waiter. Then the pizzas!!! The crust was awesome and the fillings were all so fresh and tasty. And even with a bottle of wine, the total came to 14 ⬠each - so reasonable! If we were here longer I would definitely go back again!!

Booked this via Trip Advisor. Second day in Naples wanted to have an affordable meal that wasn't pizza. Had vegetarian ravioli, decilious. My husband had the vegetarian fusilli and we shared buscetta and aubergine parmesan. The stand out dish was the ravioli. Our waitress , Veronica was friendly and pleasant. Our bill minus tip was 27. Euros and that included 2 large Peronis. The place is very modest but there is lots of people watching to be done. Give it a go. Thanks so much.....we wait for you again.....Rrau' Street

When you enter the restaurant, you first see a deli stocked with the best cheeses and charcuterie, on the walls are boxes of dried pasta, sauces, jars of tuna, olives, and tomatoes. Walk further in are 2 dining rooms.Had a wonderful greeting from the owner. Menus printed in English with full descriptions.I've always wanted to try the jar tuna soaked in olive oil, so, had the tuna salad that were big pieces of tuna on top of marinated artichokes. Delicious and full of different textures. Had a special caramelized onion sauce that was cooked for hours, no meat, served on pasta, this was so different, sweet, soft texture, and was very good. Also had a stewed beef, like a pot roast, where the meat was first used to flavor a sauce, then the meat is used for the next course; this was so tender and flavorful. Excellent service.

I ordered a margherita and drink and my partner ordered a pizza fritto and a drink and both were absolutely delicious. In total it cost â¬16 and could easily have been worth double that. The staff were friendly and very sweet.

We tried linguini and orzo (a pasta in very small pieces that we don't know in Spain) and they were two really extraordinary dishes. The sauces are really spectacular and probably the key to the whole thing. The place is tiny and whoever is not interested in watching the cooks may find it uncomfortable or strange. We managed to sit at one of only two tables they have and enjoyed an excellent meal, more expensive than usual in pasta but compensating for the experience, no doubt.

Unique restaurant in the heart of Frattamaggiore, a small town just outside Naples. The restaurant offers a very cozy atmosphere and the selection of wines is amazing. The menu offers a selection of pasta and meats out of the ordinary that you can find in Naples or any other cities in Italy. The quality is supreme!!The owner of the restaurant, Ivan, gives a good explanation of the different meats which you can find on the menu' and you can see the passion he gives in every meal. From the staff to the local...and the food, truly amazing! Returning before i leave, meat is top quality and very well cooked! The food here is amazing and the price is very low for the quantity and quality if you get. I ate some mussels and some spaghetti with the whole crab. The crab was alive before they cooked it. I highly recommend that you visit this if you're around.
