Reviews on Italian food in Galway, Province of Connacht, Ireland. For visitors, the best thing about Galway is that you can walk everywhere. As soon as you arrive, enjoy a walk through the city streets. There, you'll find lively pubs, independent shops and winding cobblestone streets packed with students, artists, writers and craftspeople. You may even hear Gaelic spoken. For a day trip, take a ferry to the island of Inis Mor. You'll return refreshed by the ocean air and Inis Mor's breathtaking scenery. Oh, and be sure to wear sunscreen on the island, no matter how chilly it is. (Just trust us, okay?)

We stopped here for lunch as we wanted a break from Irish food. We were hoping to find a little taste of Italy in Ireland and this cute little restaurant did not disappoint. Pizza is made in a wood fired oven. Mixed salad contained extremely fresh ingredients. We had a delicious Tiramisu for dessert. Recommend this as a great casual lunch stop with table service. We would go there again for sure!Thank you, we are delighted you enjoyed Woozza Pizza :)

We are a new Italian restaurant and pizzeria in the central of Galway City. As a family run restaurant, the atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming and family friendly, just like our food! Everything is homemade at Da Paulino's Ristorante Italiano
Family vacation brought us to Galway where we needed a nice change from the usual Irish restaurant meals. We discovered Da Paulinoâs on-line and decided to try it. We all enjoyed the dishes we tried (Garlic bread with mozzarella, Cesar salad, Margarita pizza, Cannoli, pasta with chicken, white wine (owner recommendation), and a Coke.We arrived about 18 minutes before closing and weâre still taken good care of by the owner.Weâre staying in Galway 3 days and will be back for another visit or two before we depart.IF this place was in our hometown it would be our âTo go to Italian restaurant.âWonderful meal and reasonable price.Delizioso!

We were a walk in party of 3 at 7:30pm on a Wednesday evening and no problem getting a table. All our food was excellent - sea bass, chicken with Gorgonzola, pizza, tiramisu. Service friendly and speedy without being rushed. Definitely a good decision to try this out and we could be back again tomorrow!

Ristorante/bar italiano dove si possono gustare cose tipiche siciliane come arancini di diverse varietà , tavola calda Catanese, dolci siciliani tra cui i cannoli e bere un vero caffè espresso
On my last visit here it was called Venice I think! They used to do wonderful pizza! But itâs still Italian but with no pizza. That disappointed me so I opted for Aranchelli instead. It was excellent but served on a paper plate. Had a glass of house red, also very acceptable. Itâs a small place but with good authentic Italian food. Good to see!

Wonderful meal with a fantastic atmosphere. Very authentic italian food. Desperately wanted to try the Tiramasu, but was far too full! We had salmon slices, as well as Arancini al Ragu, for starters, which were devine! Our mains were Polo alla Valdonstana (chicken breast with ham and sauce), and the Agnolotti di Carne (meat Ravioli....), which were both fantastic! Highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I called in here for the first time on Saturday night. The servers were very friendly and helpful. We were promptly seated and well looked after. We had a very very good pizza and a fantastic bowl of seafood pasta that was a huge portion with loads of seafood. Great value and nice chilled atmosphere. We will certainly come back.
