It is also known as the Sunrise City, sister to San Francisco, California, the Sunset City. The population was 41,590 at the 2010 census. As of 2012, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 42,645. It was named after the Fort Pierce Army post which was built nearby in 1838 during the Second Seminole War. The military post had been named for Benjamin Kendrick Pierce, a career United States Army officer and the brother of President Franklin Pierce.

She ain't much to look at on the outside, but the food is fantastic. The atmosphere is, well...let's just say it isn't romantic, cozy, or sheik. I think the owner's not trying to make it more than it is...a pizza/lunch joint. The TV always has sports or news on. The service is friendly. Locals abound in this place. I like Champs because it doesn't try to pretend it's something that it's not. So pull up a chair and enjoy.

I have been going to this place for ten years. They produce some very good products and have a sense of humor as well. They even have a singer during the holiday season singing christmas music with the customers. ON WEekends they are busy with not only take out but sitdown customers who can enjoy some of their products. They will prepare items to your liking within reason.

The restaurant environment was very welcoming and staff members were very helpful in suggesting menu items. The pizza was incredible... we'll be having leftovers for days! This is a great spot for friends gathering, family time, or a solo trip to grab a slice. Authentic New York pizza!

We tried the pizza here after hearing many wonderful things about it. We weren't disappointed. Great delivery service. Served nice and hot and fresh. Good size and great value. We'll try eating in the next time as we hear the atmosphere is nice and they have live entertainment on Friday nights.

A great recommendation by our family who live in the Vero Beach area. Even with the drive home, the pizza was still warm and tasty. The perfect amount of sauce and toppings, made it hard to stop at my usual 2 pieces! My only advice is to get an extra because leftovers would have been heavenly! Thank you for the great review. We appreciate all of the supprt from our customers in Vero!!â¤

My wife and I stop here for lunch every opportunity we get. I have the spaghetti and sausage lunch special and my wife gets the eggplant. We both love the sauce fresh and never pastie. Comes with a nice salad and i get a soda my wife the house cabernet. The service is excellent and the bill is only 24 dollars for fabulous lunch always

We stayed at a local hotel and were exhausted. Ordered 2 chicken parm subs with veggies. Prompt service. They had great reviews. Maybe their pizza is good. Our sandwiches were terrible. Hardly any chicken. Meager morsels. All cheese and bread. I'm being generous with 2 stars. Disgusting.

I ordered Greek lemon soup and a Nick's salad. Soup was bland. Salad came with grilled chicken. The chicken was overcooked and very dry. A very disappointing meal. No gluten free items offered. Delivery was quick.

Our table ordered 2 appetizers and 4 different entrees and all of them were excellent. The portions were large and we took home enough for another meal. Luckily we all love garlic since garlic was on practically everything and in generous amounts. The pasta was cooked just right and there were plenty of moist and delicious clams on my plate. Service was prompt and attentive. A great meal.
