Prezzo onesto.

We stayed overnight as part of a walking holiday, and evening meal was included. Started with Tortelli stuffed with potato and ragu sauce, other half had tagletelli and bolgonese sauce. Mains were pork chop (massive) for me and mixed grill for the other half, chop, pork fillet and sausage plus mixed salad. I have to say this was one of the best meals we had during our walk - all cooked excellently, and washed down by some very good local wine of which we were given a massive bottle!Finished off with espresso and home made lemoncello - good stuff. The owners were very friendly and although we only speak a little Italian and they only spoke a little English we managed perfectly.Would receommend the restuarant - room was very basic but it was only for one night.

It was a nice surprise, I went with some friends who had been suggested to visit the place and we weren't deceived. It might not be a five star restaurant, but quality and quantity are more than honest all considered. Only drawback, it is a very small place, and somehow hidden in a small venue, so do not expect some great view from there.

This is part of an Agrotourismo compound catering specifically to horse riders, but not only. We were a group of 3 motorcycle riders travaling from passo to passo to enjoy some spirited rides in the finest landscapes possible. This place is in the upper Toscana region, deep in the hills, far away from anything else and this is part of tis charm.Riccardo, the owner, is very proud with his steaks, fine cuts of the local Toscan beef, specially the Bisteca Fiorentina (Porterhouse in American...). we had a 2.5 kilo meat chunk put on the fire for a long time, and the wait was worth it as usual. Good wine, good company, hungry after a day long ride - it was sublime. No doupt, worth the effort to get there

The Hotel Restaurant is located near the fortress of Firenzuola, in the heart of the historic center. The rooms are spacious, very warm and welcoming and the summer we also have an outdoor area overlooking the main square of the village. The kitchen offer
I was touring this somewhat remote area near the border of Tuscany and Emiglia-Romana and decided I needed a bite to eat, so I stopped in Firenzuola, which is the only sizeable village along my route. I chose this place pretty much at random, and I was glad I did. My dish was some sort of pasta which looked like ravioli, but was called something else. The pasta were stuffed with a very tasty potato filling and served in a nice ragu. The portion was generous and the price reasonable.

No menu as such but we went on the owner's recommendations which were perfect for both the vegetarians and the meat eaters. Beautifully seasoned and fresh vegetables straight from the garden. The wine we had was also the best we had all holiday. Service took a while as the owner is a fabulous host to all but the edit was worth it.

A deliberately informal setting, which brings back memories of the old days and that focuses on the content host of dishes and stemware. A kitchen of the past reinterpreted on harmonica by our chef. The gastronomic journey is a pleasure for the eyes and t
The restaurant was fully booked, mainly tourists. But that did not spoil the cosy atmosphere. The menu was wonderful. It is rather a trip reaching the restaurant, but worth the trip. We stayed for the night in Gli Orzali; check out our review as well.

I went for a meal with friends, family and business friends and had the best steak of my life. It was cooked to perfection by chef Alessandro Cianti. If you are around this area it is a must visit.
